I think you're crazy for not liking Return of the Jedi. It was my favorite of all the Star Wars films.

Sin City - Considering I'm a big fan of the comic (the only person in my whole group of friends who actually had read the comic before watching it) and Rodriguez' previous works, and also considering I enjoy films of this genre - I must say this is one of the more dissapointing films I've seen recently. You can chalk it up to me knowing most of what happens beforehand, but I honestly found the film only mildly entertaining and not worth a repeated viewing. My friends think I'm crazy, but I just wasn't impressed. I will see the sequel however to see if my opinion changes as more of the story is fleshed out.

Kevin Smith films - I find this junk to be mindless, pointless, un-funny drivel that seems force-fed to my generation. I'm amazed at how people consider Smith such a great writer. The only redeeming quality about these films is Jason Lee - he's funny but nobody else it.

Fight Club - I enjoyed the Game more. Overrated.

POTC - Same thing - I can't even fathom how this movie is so popular - remind me to cast Leo DiCaprio and Orlando Bloom along with flavor of the week female babe in my next POS Bruckheimer period piece so it grosses 400 mil.

**** of the Dead movies - Romero is not a good director. Never was nor will he ever be.

Episode 4 - A NEW HOPE - Yea I'm well aware the prequels were bad and I never expected otherwise, but man I wish people would stop lauding the original so much - it was NOT a great film by any means. It's aged very poorly and it survives in most peoples minds due to nostalgia. Dare I say it, I consider it weaker than ROTJ. ROTJ gets a bad wrap because of the "lamo ewoks". However, Jedi also has some of the most powerful and meaningful scenes in teh entire trilogy and would have been a fantastic film had it not involved the whole plot device of the imperial army being defeated by teddy bears. I'll forgive that in light of the space-battle and final scenes being fantastic looking even today. Empire still is the best though 😎

Kill Bill vol 2 being better than vol 1 - I seem to get a lot of backlash from people for saying the second part is better than the first - but I just can't get into the goofy fight scenes that the first film is mostly comprised of. The second one just flows better to me and fleshes out the story a lot more. We get to see more interesting characters in the second film rather than one or two really overlong fight scenes with no story whatsoever.

Edit: and whats with people hating on LOTR & Crash. They may be a bit overrated sometimes but if you think they're bad - you're either clueless or need to see more movies period

Fight Club was good, Sin City was good... in fact, i like all those movies you listed, though you have to admit Crash pisses you off sometimes...

I cannot think of any English movie.
I only can think of this one Indonesian movie called "Ada Apa Dengan Cinta?" that was a hit in my country and most of my friends watch it until 3,4 times.
I try to finish watching it, but each time I try, I just fall asleep.

Star Wars Prequels(Graphics don't cut it)
Napoleon Dynamite(WTF? This is the WORST(maybe not, but close) movie ever)

Most Kiera Knightly / Orlando Bloom films. Can't stand the over the top English accents - all 'bloody hell' and 'bugger'. Who talks like that?!
At least with Jack Davenport, Hugh Grant, Stephen Fry you can believe that's actually how they talk everyday.

All you know about my taste is that I don't want to see Flyboys; which isn't a hell of a lot to know about someone's preference in film.

1 and 2 weren't that bad, and I saw them when I was much younger so I appreciated them more.

I own Anchorman, my brother likes it, and I can never get into it. I find it completely stupid, I pretty much dislike all Will Ferrell movies. Although there's some parts that were funny, like Sex Panther.

I don't mind Tarantino, but I felt Vol. 1 had a flow and was much better done overall.

Gah, I hate pretty much all Bill Murray movies 😛

I think all the Harry Potter movies are ridiculous, books are way better.

Anchorman to me is one of the funniest movies I've seen in awhile.

I like all Tarantino films and think both Kill Bill volumes are terrific movies.

The movies that people think I'm crazy for not liking are The Underworld movies.

People saw how can you not like LOTR..stating they are well made movies with a lot of care put into them..well Celine Dionne albums are well made and have a lot of care put into them but id rather saw my own ears off than listen to one of those

BTW Your wrong about the first three Romero DEAD movies..Land OF did suck though...i know at least 3 people who fell asleep watching it at the cinema and after years of bigging up EMPIRE i think its time for JEDI to take the greatest SW flick of all time crown

Pirates is a movie to watch once...i put it on for my girlfreind so she would know whats what when we went to see pirates2 but we both lost interest real quick causing us to turn it off AND so ending up with us not bothering going to see Pirates2 after all

seeing that you like jedi the best and not wanting to see flyboys is enough for me to know you have horrible taste in movies.

Let me catch up here, Return of the Jedi is terrible, but Flyboys looks good?
