The correct use of english grammar is "weren't" not "wasn't". You're intelligence is going through the roof now. They need put a grammar check on this forum as well as spellcheck.

Depends where one is from professor - spelling, when it comes to s vs. z, is very much dependant on ones national education. Just like u vs. no u.
Now it would have been "you're", but, since you are obviously not an English professor, could someone with a decent grasp of the English language, tell me if the following "the majority of Germans back then wasn't evil "...is actually wrong? Yeah I'm sure oxford's dictionary has "capitalised" in it as the past tense form of capitilize. And i am a english professor by the way.
