So, now that teams are complete, I did a little writeup what I think of them. 😄

The Uniqueness Rating tells how interesting the teams are to me. It doesn't tell anything about overall formitability.

1. Newjak/Blair Wind
G.L. Kyle Rayner (BW)
Shaman (Team)
Juggernaut (Newjak)

I'm liking the Lords of Chaos team. They sure have a nice stability with an powerful cosmic force, powerful magic, and sheer brute force and durability. Only thing that might be concerning is the Juggernaut's lacking ability to fly...when most teams have all their members in the air.

2. Leo/Kahn
Silver Surfer (Team)
G.L. Hal Jordan (Kahn)
Loki, dammit! (Leo)

The Plot Device😛 team is strong as ever, and they have even more plotdeviceness with the addition of plot device magic from Loki. All are powerful characters.

Team Uniqueness rating: 6.7/10

3. Batdude/DC
Magneto (Team)
Captain Atom (Batdude)
Morg (DC)

Team Uniqueness rating: 9/10

4. AW/Accel
Quasar (AW)
Ronan the Accuser (Accel)
Hyperion (Supreme Power) (Team)

Cosmic Guy team is cool. Both Quasar and Ronan are very unique choices. Only time will tell how the relatively unexperienced Supreme Power Hyperion will do here against some more established characters.

5. GF/Psyquis
Cyborg Superman (GF)
Thor (Team)
Ray II (Psyquis)

Cyborg Superman was certainly someone I couldn't except, unlike Thor. Ray II seems interesting, it will be fun to watch how he is handled in Brutey and the Beast team.

6. DL/Superherovandal
Gladiator (Team)
Martian Manhunter (SHV)
Orion (DL)

Martian Manhunter is a character I didn't think to be in tourney like this. But him combined with Orion and Gladiator is interesting, and this team clearly has lot of raw power, so maybe Martian Manhunter will compensate to that with his more exotic powers. Last of the Mohicans team will be followed by me.

Team Uniqueness rating: 6.9/10

7. Khell/KVD
Black Bolt (Team)
Beta Ray Bill (Khell)
Witchfire (KVD)

Silent Thunder is a solid, powerful team. Witchfire is character who I don't know nothing about, so it will be fun to see how he works with Beta Ray Bill and Black Bolt. And Black Bolt and BRB are also very nice characters.

Team Uniqueness rating: 8.2/10

8. AJ/Sam Z
Majestic (??)
Black Adam (??)
Supreme (??)

What Royal Rumblers lacks in something, it makes up with Superman type characters. Certainly an interesting choice to not have any cosmic characters, or magic besides of course Black Adam. Will be nice to watch. Haven't also seen a lot from Supreme.

I just have a general dislike for spell-casters

Well, the next 4 most interested members of the Corps went and joined the tourney. So that's where the Corps went. 😠

So Scoob posted everyone up there. I see the Despero situation has worked itself out, and otherwise we seem about done.

Is there anything that needs my attention?? Because I really don't want to read this whole thread.

we COULD have a royal rumble like last time....just more organized if possible

A few things have been brought to my attention via PM.

1. The only way to defeat any version of Juggs remains TP. His durability is arguably above Thanos (he's taken a Godblast and survived) and thus is well over our killability limit. The TP thing remains a viable option, but with such a small window of attack, it's hardly fair.

2. Despero. *sigh* Leo gave me the cliffs notes in a PM of both sides. Even if I were to agree with leo, with such widespread opposition to him I'd be hard pressed to simply pull rank and allow him. I am, after all, trying to make this a collaborative effort rather than a dictatorship.

Despero remains banned. I'll go back and re-read parts of this thread, but my decision should stand.

And thoughts on Juggs?

Jugg's get's the dust cloud

My thing is that if you argue so that your team can beat their other members (Shaman, Kyle) that Juggs is effectively screwed provided you have even a low-level telepath on your team. Juggs is only as invulnerable as his teammates in that sense, since nearly every team has some TP (even little-used ones like Majestic and Surfer)

I'd be ok with him for that reason.
