But for every "I need help with schoolwork" thread, theres 200 threads on what to eat for a snack, what color your underwear is, and if you are even wearing underwear. Heck some people even post half a thought and write for the subject "I just..." and then inside would write something along the lines of "went to the bathroom 😱 "
Whereas in the vs forum, alot of people have lots of knowledge and LIKE to discuss their favorite heroes, and jedis, and video game characters. It's just a hobby I suppose for alot of people. And taking away what the LOVE to do on KMC on hypocritical reasons is just unfair.

But, please explain why its hypocritical.
Let's get down to basic common sense and logic, Vinny, ok? Forget who likes the OTF, why or what purpose you believe it has for a minute.
A) Why on Earth would you protest to have a forum removed when you don't even have to go near it?
B) Why stand behind that premise on the basis of "It has no point, it's stupid", when the forum you are backing is the OTF?
C) Knowing Wolverine's attack will get you far in a debate that requires you to know what his traits and abilities are. Like a debate in, oh I don't know, the Comic Vs Forum. I don't need to know how your day went, that won't come in handy for me at all. My knowledge of The Silver Surfer however, will, if I choose to debate in there.
If you don't like it, don't go near it. Requesting that it be removed is stupid. You've been on the back foot since you started and the only reason you're not bailing out is because of pride. You're wrong and everyone here has more or less proven this.

Well I mean hypocritical as in that the majority basis of your arguements are that the threads in the many vs forums are all spam and made with the same characters over and over, just with different opponents.
You claim that they are pointless (or something like that) and think they make kmc look bad (maybe you? Not sure really. Too troublesome to look back on it.)
bottom line is, you have made comments referring to the vs forums as worthless spam. And you back up your favorite section - the otf, as if it were extremely important.
However...the off-topic...is SO much the EPITOMY of spam that it HAS to have its own forum to rid the rest of kmc of the worthlessness. It doesn't even BELONG anywhere is how random it is.

I'm saying it Not logical, it just makes people who are joining the forum think that there is nothing more then hundreds of Vs crap. ( I do realise the OTF is just as bad, don't tell me that).
And Personally, they can go ahead and close the OTF because I'll just continue what I do in the GDF Forum, or Games forum or such.
If The VS forum would be closed, at the cost of the OTF as well, I'd take it.
I see it as, you need to keep learning new things that will help you, GDF forum is full of that, OTF has some useful things, Vs Forums, Squat.
And If someone joined KMC just to post "Who would kill who in a fight" hundreds of times then they need to seriously open there thoughts up a bit into the other forums, because I doubt it the forum closed that everyone would leave, I bet they would push over into other forums.

Yes but it's important for people to speak their minds on their favorite subjects. They can express themselves and back their favorite childhood heroes. We have no right to rid them of that privelage because we don't like "Looking at the "vs forums" when we scroll the homepage. Even though we can fully avoid them."
Can you finally just address why they bother you so much that they HAVE to be gone EVEN though you don't have to go anywhere near them?

The OTF is worse because it's not a significant or independently recognised medium. Comics are, off topic isn't.
Second, if people are too lazy, that's their own fault. No need to get rid of the Vs Forums. Just stop going there.

Vs Forum isn't about learning, it's about discussing a specific medium, which happens. You don't learn anything from it, some people don't learn anything from the OTF. Stay away, it's a simple solution.
