There are rare exceptions, but mostly no. Characters may change and references collide, but their powers are never really up for debate. I honestly don't and didn't ever get as into debating it as some, it goes too far. I see what you're saying. I just don't think it has to be removed.

No, you're wrong. The OTF is a privilege. It's basically the chatroom and borderline spam forum. Threads that are harmless enough to avoid locking, but far too pointless to be anywhere else. It's a luxury, don't forget that. Off topic is not a medium, comics are, music is, politics and world events are. Off topic isn't.

That's not what the Comics Vs Forum is at all. There may be people like that, but that's not what it is (or at least was) as a whole.

You say at least in the OTF there's chat that leads somewhere, exactly. It's a forum, not a chatroom. Raz could easily say "If you want to chat, go to a chatroom, I'm deleting the OTF.". Why? Because that's what it is.

You've made a very irrational claim with this thread and you cannot back it up one bit, so I suggest you save face and bail out before you look significantly more ignorant.

Lets put it that way, and Yes I can back it up. Every single day people are spamming threads to get a thread count up. This thread count is because people just keep posting "Beast Vs Superman, Beast Vs Spiderman, Beast Vs .....etc. My claims are hardly irrational AC.

Vinny, you're wrong man. You've got nothing to go on, and everything that's rational is against you.

The site would lose OTF interest, frivolous interest. Those who love to debate in the GDF, MuDF, MoDF, Sports Forum etc wouldn't be gone. You're biased because you love the OTF, but that doesn't change fact, Vinny. You cannot back up anything you're saying.

You don't like the threads, so what? People in there believe they have a point and they do, in that forum. Every forum has frivolous threads to some degree, but Beast Vs Spider-Man in a Comics Vs Forum is much more a valid thread than "OMG! THE COUNTING GAME!" or "DO SOMETHING TO THE PERSON ABOVE YOU!". To deny such is silly.

Without the off Topic forum, KMC would only lose SLIGHT interest. I'm practically a hundred percent positive that every member of kmc was either brought here by a friend, or stumbled upon here while looking for star wars, or final fantasy, or anything along those lines.

It's safe to say a very few percent of us were looking for an off-topic forum to post on.

And if you are so worried about spam, can we not put into account that the off-topic forum is just...all spam? Random videos with dogs getting punched by old ladies, and junk like that isn't what makes KMC, KMC.

Regardless, your claims are rational, saying that beast vs spiderman, beast vs him and her blah blah. But that doesn't mean they are worthless threads. People still post there and debate.

I think there are only a few exceptions in which a member in kmc is sticks strictly with the otf. I'm sure you frequent other forums, for example the games forum (for I see you are a fan of Final Fantasy.)

🤨 somehow I dont see the need to have these threads exist. Im not gonna make a petition about it. Without the Vs Forums a SIZABLE portion of KMC members would go away.

As for having a point? I like the way AC describes (and I hope you dont mind me coining it AC) but the forums are NOT a chatroom. Period point blank. To think otherwise would be illogical. The OFT was to prevent the obvious amount of people who want to do nothing BUT chat. Debating has a set point. What is the set point of the OFT?? Im not gonna say that I dont do my fair share of chatting (and yes *gasp* it happens in the VS section) but to say that frivolous chatting is better than someone elses interest is a illogical conclusion based solely on your biased opinion.
