Amen brother. I consider there to a large tier close to the top consisting of Terry, Iori and various others. I think Kyo is just shy of qualifying for that tier.

Like I said before, gaymore focuses too much on the main character. Every main character post kyo has been some super powered character that upsurps the entire hierarchy and makes establish characters look like jokes. Basically, every new character has to kick the old one ass, just to look cool. In reality, that doesn't make them cool, it makes them random. What ash did to iori should have never happened. I don't care if he fought kyo, shingo, or Al-Queda. Iori has way too many feats under his belt to lose to some no name. They need to make more humble main characters.

Well, it wasn't really a big deal, because before fatal fury there weren't really any crossovers.
Krauser. I can't think of anyone else from FF who gets the props that Terry and Geese get, pre-rock. Though, personally, I think Grant belongs up there. I don't mind Ash nailing Iori like that, as long as the little shit gets Kyo next. Someone has needed to knock Kyo off his pedastal since KOF96 and maybe 95'.

Amen to that brother. I also agree with what Emeror Ashtor has stated. Gaymore focuses too damn much on the main characters especially in KOF mainly Flame users.
Which is kinda of why I like the MI series though Kyo,Iori,Kula being there makes it a little dissapointing. Even though folks here dont really care much for Alba Meira at least it was a BREAK from dealing with The Nest, Orochi and Kyo clone garbage....at least Alba is not a flame user.
I can also recall that when KOF 99 came out and K' was introduced, alot of Kyo fans were not to happy....even though Trickster stated he did care much for the Nests saga I happened to enjoy it exepct the Kyo clone mess and that Kyo himself was still playing a major role in things.
Since Playmore has revived the The Orochi arc, I am sure Iori is going to have his revenge against Ash so his fans can be very pleased then I am also sure we will also Kyo vs Iori for the umpteeth time 😮
