Thats just the video game list, and there's alot more then what I listed.

Almost any major anime hero/villain.

Master Chief is easily beatable by anyone with supernatural abilities, almost anyone.

Safer Sephiroth..........no. No way. I'd call him maybe one of the most overrated characters in the history of gaming.
Cloud...... not even a question. He's good, but very overrated. Too many people say Sephiroth is the only guy who can beat him.

Daleks..... 😕 When did a dalek get in a game? They are powerful, but again, not unbeatable. Too overpowered for most games anyway. 🍺

Bison is most defonatly overrated, the worst example i can give you is Bison s Mewtwo, that just pathetic thinking Bison would win.

Gen, overrated almost as badly as.... umm something very highl overrated

Scorpion is just overrated a lil bit, for example i can't see how he might beat cloud

Safer Sephiroth, hmm after reflecting on some arguements i've come to the conclusion that he is a character that can only crush or be crushed, i can't think of a close match. Althought people hate of him means they put him up against character that simple wouldn't win as say otherwise *Cough Link vs seph* 🤨

Cloud is the only guy that could kill sephiroth on FF7 but he is overrated, even as a fanboy i say that, still he is coolio

Mewtwo, underrated in my opnion, for whatever it might count for

Ryu, yeah i do think he's overrated

Sora, slightly underrated

Tidus, unerestimated, but after the Tidus vs Gouki thread he's been put to shame

Tifa, underrated, most people she's fought in the VS forum means she's well out of her league, but she is underrated

Standard Seph, yeah overrated, but he could be used for some interesting matches, if only people would stop putting him against people that generally speaking don't die

Bison not so overrated. Valid points were made in Bison vs Mewtwo, Mewtwo was being overraed in defense of those underrating them.

Can someone explain how Ryu is being overrated consistently, and not by just one member? Because I can name franchises people wish to put up against them that they constantly overrate to give a chance.

I know that some SF characters are overrated, but I don't see Ryu as one of them too often, maybe I'm missing something.

after posting in the vergil vs. akuma thread, im saying that vergil is vastly underated..

PERIOD! I can explain this by saying that now days he was seen compared to others as a joke, to me he is one of the best fighters in the MK series.

I'm putting in my votes for Master Chief, Sephiroth, and Cloud as some of the most overrated characters. They're not the end-all-be-all of video game characters, people, get over it.

Though MC is over rated not so much on this forum...anymore, anyways. It was pretty bad during the MC vs. Samus thing, but its cooled down now.

Extremely cool. I love that song. But.......Cloud's still overrated. 😄 And Duke rules MC's world. Hell, Duke could take the whole Covenant and maybe the Halos.
