Nakamura yelled aloud as he sliced a samurai in half. The carnage that engulfed him was starting to take its toll. His heart was a racing a mile a minute. He sliced two more Inuzuki samurai's heads off, and he watched as their heads rolled along the ground. His swords were smothered in blood, and his face had blood on it as well... it wasn't his own, but someone else's. "Take this!" He yelled again as he jumped into a crowd of Inuzuki. Bodies littered every corner of the now burning town. Unlucky villagers who had been caught in the fires now burned, screaming and rolling around on the ground. Nakamura kicked a samurai to the ground and then stabbed the unlucky samurai's face. He twisted his sword and then ripped it out. His men clashed swords with the Inuzuki, Nakamura gritted his teeth and continued his rampage through the town.

The young Inuzuki sworsdman couldn't move. Every bone in his body felt broken. How the hell did he get beat so easily? He heard the screams of samurai dying. He let out a sigh, was this how Japan would be run? He looked up at the roof of the household and wondered who had lived here. He didn't really care about the pain in his chest, he felt the blood flow freely on his stomach and drip off onto the floor. Would the Inuzuki be able to win this battle without him? I guess they have to do their best. His last thought rang through his head before he finally embraced the coldness of dying on a battlefield. The young, aspiring samurai lay dead.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nakamura's rampage had just about wiped out the Inuzuki completely. The Inuzuki lord had been pushed back. He hadn't expected this much of a victory. His men had taken losses, but nothing as heavy as the Inuzuki's losses. The Inuzuki needed a miracle now to win this battle. He kicked a villager in the chest and cut down another Inuzuki samurai. The dead lay quiet on the streets, and blood ran freely. "We will turn the entire city red with Inuzuki blood!" A general had shouted. Suddenly, the sky filled with arrows. "Ahhhh!" The arrows hit many targets. Utenzaki samurai dropped dead. A general sat on his horse, an arrow cracked through his helmet and stuck into his skull. Nakamura swore, he hadn't expected archers, and the Utenzaki had few of them. The Utenzaki archers took aim and fired, killing off a few more Inuzuki. "Cease fire!" An Inuzuki officer yelled aloud, Nakamura knew that this would work to his advantage an replied: "Cease fire accepted!" Now that the fighting had stopped, he would regroup his troops... the day looked to be theirs.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Horjo and the remaining Utenzaki guards hid themselvs across the castle. Little skirmishes broke out every now and then, and the Utenzaki had been repelling the strange ninja who wore no banner. Horjo's wound hadn't been to bad, after all, a little Shuriken could never hurt an Utenzaki general... he thought. Wrong. He vomited, and then froze in his tracks, Was it poisoned??? His eyes widened, he hadn't expected that. His stomach felt like it was afire... and his throat was dry. He vomited again, acid filling his mouth. He fell over onto his knees and vomited again. "Damn it! You cowards!" He shouted down the hallway as ninja charged the small Utenzaki position. A letter had been written and sent to the Lord, but he knew it would never reach in time. The ninja rushed the small Utenzaki defenses. Horjo looked up, and the last thing he saw was the tip of a shining blade heading straight for his head. His body flopped onto the ground.

Orin smiled at Lady Kuro-u's 'enthusiasm'. Orin let out a small laugh and nodded.
"I understand... I should learn to be more like you, M'Lady."
Kuro-u inclined her head toward the other samurai as he bowed to her in passing, watching the samurai go she turned her attention back toward Orin, "Well you would learn much from me...as I remember you are still one of the most talented young warriors in this clan with a bow." Se paused and pondered, "Perhaps a little training in stealth would do you some good?"

"Perhaps," Orin smiled. "As long as it wouldn't trouble you M'lady... You could train me with your new apprentice."
Orin chuckled, and looked back at the entrance to the village. He was just uptight now that he had escaped from the Moto village.
The cease fire had lasted two days now, and Nakamura Utenzaki began to worry. Suddenly, an Utenzaki samurai on a horse rode up to him. He hopped off bowed and handed him a letter... it was from Horjo. The messager stayed on his knees and was silent. Nakamura looked over the letter... The Castle was under seige?!?!?! "What!" He yelled aloud. They couldn't continue the attack, they had to pull back. He passes the letter to his remaining generals, who gave grave nods. They understood. As the Utenzaki men began to pull back, Nakamura left two samurai companys to stay and continue the fight. As his horse took flight, he worried for his friend. I must get there soon. If the castle falls, it'll be a burden to try and get it back...

As the mysterious ninja stormed the castle, blood spewed all over the walls. The Utenzaki samurai were doing their best, but the ninja outnumbered them. The Utenzaki were the strongest of all the samurai clans, they could easily cut through twenty ninja with only three samurai. Even the youngest Utenzaki samurai could easily kill ten. They weren't afraid of death, and embraced it as a gift, to die in battle was an honor. With Horjo dead, the samurai sought to avenge him. They charged the ninja, slicing through them. Blood ran throughout the hallways, heads rolled on the ground, and bodies were trampled. The samurai continued their re-capture of the castle.
Harutomo awoke to the chirping of birds outside his castle. He rose, stretched, and slid open the screen door as he walked to the balcony overlooking a lake, which glistened yellow, orange, and red with the color of the rising sun. His mind was restless, he knew that the Inuzuki and Utenzaki had engaged in hostilities recently and knew that this was the beginning of the end of a divided Japan, he knew they had called for a cease fire but as he heard his servants gossip below him, as they often knew of external affairs before their betters did, he learned that ninjas had besieged and assaulted Utenzaki Castle, and he could only figure that this almost constant conflict meant that the Ito would be eventually dragged in one way or another...
Yasu awoke to the chilly morning air; the last three days had been good for him, Back to the wilderness to what it was like before his father had died. The camp was already showing signs of life around him. Since being named general in his fathers stead he had had little time for what he liked best. He was on a ranging with a group of Moto outriders and scouts, keeping his own personal variety of peace in the Moto land. But now they were traversing the edges of the Moto domain. The Utenzaki had been causing trouble as of late and it never hurt to be cautious with the way the clans were acting. He drew his sword and walked away from camp, starting into his morning ritual swinging his sword fluidly moving from form to form. He could feel the sweat streaming down his face, he swung Itami with ease yet it had been too long since he had used it, but this was something you never forget how to do.
The noise of an approaching horse caught his ear; it was one of his scouts Okan back to report from the wilderness. He sheathed his sword as the man approached him.
“Lord” the messenger said with a hurried bow “There is a group of Samurai up ahead heading this way, they seem to be an Ito patrol”
“Ha, they seemed to have ventured too far from there homes. Good ready the men for battle , I haven’t killed anything in a while”
As Nakamura Utenzaki and his remaining samurai rode onwards, they had to cross through a Shinzi town, hopefully they would not attack them. Nakamura halted his samurai before the small gate of the Shinzi town, he dismounted and, accompied by two specially trained Samurai Guards, who carried large spears. As he walked through the town, he looked around for the leader of the village. Perhaps it is a rogue town? No. His mind quickly changed when he looked at a woman in the distance, she seemed wise. (Lady Kuro-u). Nakamura bowed before her, his two samurai stood directly behind him, and they did not flinch. "Are you the leader of this town?" He asked, his patience beginning to wither, he had to reach the castle soon.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
At the castle, the ninja had been driven back, but losses were being taken. The Utenzaki knew that time would be the deciding factor in this fight. Two young Utenzaki samurai began laughing as they cut down a couple more ninja. They watched as the Ninja pulled back, they had secured another room. They two friends gave each other high-fives, it had been their first actual battle, and they had proven themselves. A nearby officer congratulated them, and he sat down at a nearby table. If the victories continued like this, the Utenzaki would have the castle in about a week. But that was to long, they needed to get a hold on it before the ninja called reinforcements... which would be a horrible thing to happen.
Kuro-u looked to the foreign samurai and pushed Orin behind her, she shook her head to the man and answered slowly. "I am not...we have a ruling council in this village. I will escort you to their chambers." She then turned to Orin, "Return to your bunk my young friend...we will discuss this later."
Then returning to the foreigner, she raised a slight brow and swept her pale but strong hand to the entrance of the village, "Please..."
"I am not sure but we shall find out soon enough, I will insist that we view the proceedings." Kuro-u replied quietly.
They were not far from the council's chambers but already the word seemed to have travelled about the foreigners and two of the guard from the hall were approaching the small group.
The more senior of the two approached Kuro-u, "We will escort the group, including yourself my lady and warrior Jiang to the hall where the council have conveigned (sp?) to judge this matter immediately."
Kuro-u nodded and continued with the guard escort added to the group.
