This is gonna be my second to the last post on this thread since I'll be going to Vegas tonight. 💃
I'll concentrate on what Quasar can do here.
Well then, shall I proceed to place the nail into the coffin?
Quasar could do extremely well against any of DL's and SHV's characters.
Quasar VS. Orion:
Again if Quasar battles Orion this match will end very quickly for Orion would be easy to find and be unable to hurt Quasar with his energy blasts.
Due to Quasar's energy absorbing powers, Orion's blast will only add to Quasar's power, or Quasar could redirect Orion's own energy back at him like he did to Surfer here:

As for Orion, he will be expending all this energy to try and take out Quasar. Quasar will just focus on his energy signature and lock onto it. When he's got Orion locked on, there's no escaping Quasar's energy blasts:

Quasar VS. Gladiator:
Again my double bubble theory has yet to be disproved by the competition. Quasar could catch Glads in a bubble just like he did to Binary here:

And then form a second bubble using the the extra time due to Glads immobilization. This second bubble will be more powerful than the first. Unless Glads is more powerful than Earth's heroes combined:

Then Glads ain't breaking that bubble.
Thus Quasar could do the following to Glads, like fly him out of the atmosphere while Glads is trapped, and then proceed to dump him into the Quantum Zone like this:

Or he could just leave Glads there and help Ronan out with martian Manhunter. Glads ain't breaking the Bubble anytime soon.
Quasar VS. Martian Manhunter:
Now that Quasar is immune to telpathic attacks like this:

Quasar could win against MM in many ways. Encasing him in a bubble and then dumping him into the Quantum Zone. Multiple high output energy blasts would stop the Manhunter fairly quickly. I mean, GL's have held MM in their constructs before and he wasn't able to phase out of them.
If MM turns invisible, Quasar could still track him with a faint energy signature due to his Martian Beams. If MM even thinks out about firing his beams off, Quasar will notice it. His bands can track incoming energy beams like he did with Binary and Kismet. His bands will set up automatic defense shields if it detects an incoming energy blast. If MM tries to punch Quasar, it's not gonna do him much good either. As I said before, Quasar is wearing the Quantum Armor, and Quantum Armor will protect him from physical attacks.
Again, if MM is more powerful than the combined might of the Avengers, FF4, and X-men, or is powerful energy blasts like Thanos, there's no way he's getting through Q's Armor or his constructs.

Hell... I was talking to Golem the other day and he said he would've wanted in but he was too late as all the places had filled up.... and we know he would have been on often enough to play

Blair , Golem knows everything about ANYTHING . The man's a walking wikipedia of obscure characters...
It's freaking impossible to make failsafes against this sort of idiocy. We tried to haev everything in order, with people who understood the commitment involved, and it still goes to hell.
At least from here on out things should be good. Everyone next week is psyched and reliable, and the next round we'll have all interested people as well.
