The things I said about Chick Tracts -
1 - Present absurd situations that don't exist in the world to try and make people think "Oh my God, that might happen to us. We better convert."
2 - Draw upon sources that have been debunked time and time again by actual reputable historians.
3 - Use fear tactics.
4 - Use falsities and non-truths
5 - Use actual conspiracy theories
6 - Make attempts to demonise people of other faiths or philosophical standings
7 - Once again - mistruths, incorrectly interpreted FACTS, makes claims which aren't supported scientifically, or statistically.
Those are the claims I and others made, and which you "hypothetically" said could be paranoia.
So support yourself or reaffirm you stance as dodger.
Is it correct what we say about Chick tracts in regard to the above problems? YES/NO
Are we paranoid for having problems with Chick Tracts based on these tactics? YES/NO
NOTHING TO DODGE JIA.
Here comes the hair-splitter. Samura...asking a question and making a statement are not the same. I asked, " could it (meaining all of the conspiracy theories surrounding your characterizations of chick tracts) be paranoia?" This is a question not a statement. I never called you or anyone else paranoid. But now I am starting to think it.

Ah, but you were answering the question in the statement, otherwise there would have been no reason to ask. And now I am giving you a chance to defend it or retract it (or, alternativly to dodge it.) There was implication there, otherwise you chose to ask "could" to something you didn't believe. Did you believe it was paranoia? If not why imply such? And ultimalty in terms of language there is no way to remove that implication.

I think you are entitled to your opinions. Friend, buddy ole pal...why are you constantly trying to elicit my opinion, you are starting to come across as obssessed with what I think. What I think is irrelevant. Who am I? I am no one special. I am just a servant of Jesus Christ. I exhort you to read the Gospel According To John so that you can discover and learn what Jesus thinks. His mind is inifinitely more complex, rich, and intricate than mine. His mind is not affected by sin. All people have a mind that must be renewed with the Word of God including me. But Jesus' mind is free from sin and full of wisdom, in fact
Colossians 2:2-4
2 that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 Now this I say lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words.
1 Corinthians 1:30
But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God —and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—
1 Corinthians 1:24
but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

No one need to elicit your opinion. It's in dark blue text for everyone to read in countless, redundant threads. See:
Colossians 2:2-4
1 Corinthians 1:30
1 Corinthians 1:24
And I can assure you, no one is as obsessed with your opinion as you are yourself.

Your opinion? So you admit it is your opinion.
You made a statement in a debate. When questioned on it you have dodged like no bodies business. The Bible quotes don't answer it, and you wont.
What Jesus thinks is irrelevant. What God thinks is irrelevant. What Jack Chick thinks is irrelevant. What is being asked of you is simple - you alluded to paranoia clouding those criticisms made of Chick Tracts.
You have been given a list of the complaints are asked:
Is it correct what we say about Chick tracts in regard to the above problems? YES/NOAre we paranoid for having problems with Chick Tracts based on these tactics? YES/NO
What does Jesus have to do with that? Or the Bible? We are talking about your view of man made material, criticisms of which you have said "could be paranoia."

JesusIsAlive, I've read many of those tracts years ago......They are full of fear tactics and lies..........Is that how the church does it now a days? The fear of Hell to get one to heaven.....Nope!! The church has always done this......Only now we have printed paper.
Dude you can share the gospel of jesus anywhere. Not just a church. If we're not for jesus outside of church, then what the heck are we even bothering to go to church? the reason why I go to church is because I want to get to know my holy father better everyday.....and because I want to fellowship with other christians. It's because I know God that I've been able to get through some of the toughest times in my life. Trust in God and He'll get you through ANYTHING!!!! God is able in all things through Christ Jesus. amen.
but if people don't want to listen to you preach the gospel and have repeatedly asked you to stop then you should at least have enough respect for the people's beliefs to stop...
instead of shoving it forcibly down their throats by continously repeating the same thing over and over and over again until people start to tell you to go away...

Curious -- can this same reasoning be applied to those who "preach" secular and non-Christian doctrines as well?

I would think so, but I've never heard anyone ever preach secular and non-Christian doctrines. What is it that you are talking about? Do you mean things like science? If so, then you are advocating that we ignore the truth.
