Sadly while they get read that doesn't equate with conversion. And since most people agree Chick Tracts are inaccurate and insulting to the intelligence it seems far more likely people turn away from any message contained within.

Don't make me start asking the tough questions again about the content. I'm sure you don't want to be seen dodging them a second time.

I have yet to dodge anyone's questions. What you dub as "dodging" I call deliberately choosing not to respond to (I am smarter than you give me credit for being pal). There are questions that I willfully decide not to answer for reasons that will stay in my counsel. But trust me, I have my reasons and they are far more wiser than you will ever know.

Actually you first made the attempt to doge by going "I believe with the overall message etc." after making the statement about how you see no lies in Chick and people that do are likely paranoid.

When pressed you just out and out refused. The ultimate dodge - "I don't like this game anymore because I am loosing so I'm taking my ball and going home" - funny, its easy to claim victory when one refuses to play.

And its interesting the questions you "chose not to answer" - I wonder why you, who are so happy to extrapolate on your beliefs and do so in such a open and comprehensive fashion decided you would refrain from answering those questions.

Ok buddy ole pal, the reason that I (willfully) chose not to answer your questions about the content of Jack Chick's tracts is because I am not his personal attorney or public defender. This is truthfully why I did not bother defending him. I don't even know the man for crying out loud. If you have any axe to grind, bone to pick, or malice to bear--contact Jack personally. Why don't you ask Jack Chick yourself. It is that simple.

Since you aren't prepared to defend the statement you should not have made it, and really you can't have your cake and eat it to. Could it be paranoia? That is not calling someone paranoid as you alleged that I did sir. You are the only one that thinks that they do damage. I don't think that and the myriads of Christians who disseminate them don't think that either.

Many Christians, including many mainstream Protestants and evangelicals, consider many of Chick Publications' views to be misrepresentations or distortions of general Christian or evangelical views, and as such find them offensive and embarrassing.

And the word "paranoia" hardly suffices to describe Jack Chick' s general attitude towards events around us.

You say you weren't calling people paranoid, now you are claiming it was all hypothetical despite the fact it was about you and the people in the thread who had put forward valid objections to Chick tracts which you had failed to deal with.

The things I said about Chick Tracts -

1 - Present absurd situations that don't exist in the world to try and make people think "Oh my God, that might happen to us. We better convert."

2 - Draw upon sources that have been debunked time and time again by actual reputable historians.

3 - Use fear tactics.

4 - Use falsities and non-truths

5 - Use actual conspiracy theories

6 - Make attempts to demonise people of other faiths or philosophical standings

7 - Once again - mistruths, incorrectly interpreted FACTS, makes claims which aren't supported scientifically, or statistically.

Those are the claims I and others made, and which you "hypothetically" said could be paranoia.

So support yourself or reaffirm you stance as dodger.

Is it correct what we say about Chick tracts in regard to the above problems? YES/NO

Are we paranoid for having problems with Chick Tracts based on these tactics? YES/NO
