I had a rather serious family issue, i prayed and made a change in my life (I promised to give up gambling) the issue got better and everything seemed to be going well, then i played pontoon. Everything fell apart, i prayed again apologising and hey, it worked and we're all happy now.

Yes I am and had nothing to do with Jesus or some divine intervention; I simply didn't take enough pills that would kill me. I prayed to him for a long time and all that I ever asked for was to be shown love and what did I get? Why would God's plan let me try and kill myself and then realize that he is nothing more than a fairy tale?

While I'm glad these things worked out for you but how are any of them a result of God? People quit gambling all the time with out praying or divine help.

I didn't pray to stop gambling, I said Id give it up if he solved the problem...which he did.

he gives some pretty sweet deals man

but sometimes satan (KILL) tries to make bets n gambling deals with me while im playing a race like "if u win this race in 5mins ill give u a soul but if u lose i take ur soul for hell man"

What was the problem? So you hade to pay off God to solve a problem for you and the pay off was gambeling?

You could say pay off, but I'd say it was more a show of faith. I had to sacrifice something in order to prove that I was dedicated, atleast thats how I feel. I think its too easy for people so say, "God help me with this," I think it takes abit from both sides.

Why would you have to prove your faith, isn't God all-knowing? You hade to prove it to yourself, not to God.

If God is all-knowing and all-seeing then you shouldn't have to prove your faith because he already knows, so by doing anything to prove your faith it is for you that you are trying to prove.

As for me finding love yes I did long before my wife, I first had to love myself before I could love any other and I did this after I realized that Jesus was nothing but a fairy tale. I was able to realize that I'm responsible for my own happiness and life and once I realized that I became a stronger and better man for it. I was able to love myself and care and return the love of my family and friends and this is why I'm an Atheist.

Anything, something that would have shown me he cared or even existed. I wasn't looking for a miracle or some sign, just a simple feeling of hope or love.
