This is what one girl did to me, which I may have talked about in this thread already.
We were in class and she would sit beside me in class. (Are you in college or highschool, b/c if you're in highschool, then you might not be able to do that)
But anyways. She'd sit beside me and casually bring up things in the class to talk about/laugh about.
And she'd do this repeatedly in class multiple times and then one day I walk into class and she's not sitting in her normal sit. (We'd usually have an empty seat between us.
She's now sitting in the usually empty seat, which leaves no gap between us so then I sat in my seat and we were now sitting right next to each other.
So ever since, in that class and the other one we have together, we sit together, we walk to places together and talk as if we knew each other the whole time.
We get together and study and everything and this is all because of her. She took the initiative.
Hope this helps. Not to say you should do the same exact thing, but it can't hurt to hear something similar I think, give you an idea.
