Oh shite at school. Getting crap from peers.....teachers being quite unfair.
Get this, so in Geometry, I always get great grades on my tests. So, today we learned this new lesson, and I COMPLETELY didn't understand it. So everyone in the class is clueless, so they're all asking for help from the teacher. So I ask for help, she just tells me to look in the book. Am I missing something here? Goddamn man, I know its not a big deal, but I was so frustrated, because its not like I wasn't paying attention to the lesson, I completely was. It just really made me mad.
Teachers in high school have high expectations for their students! It drove me insane also! I know how you feel. The fact that no one understands it, then turns to you for answers makes things even worse. The best thing to do, is to let others know you're having a hard time understanding the lesson yourself. Break things up into steps, and little by little start reading it over. Your teacher, however, regardless if it's in the book or not, should've answered your questions, it's their job!
