'How many marvel rip offs can you find' game

Now , we all know The Authority likes to generally parody every other comic out their , but within their 'Nativity' arc they had a COLOSSAL amount of blatant Marvel rip off's . Consequently I want to see if we can identify them all.

Digi will bring scans soon . Let the games begin !!!

I need scans. 🙁

Don't know about the Authority...but here is..."The Watcher"

The Doctor=Doctor Strange
Majestic=Superman
Midnighter=Batman/Slade
The chick with wings=Hawkgirl
etc.

You mean Swift? And yeah, ost of their characters are similar to DC/ Marvel characters but they are still very notably different (and often cooler!)

Almost all of these characters are predated by some obscure pulp hero/villian or are concepts that already existed.

Yeah.

And it's also not well known that Plastic Man predates Reed by a long time. He originally debuted in soemthing like the 30's, if memory serves.

Plastic Man debuted almost a year after Thin Man, so Plas himself isn't even the first stretching super hero; plus Plastic Man was a Quality Comics property originally.

A guy that during the day plays around the part of a playboy who is often pretending to be careless about everything that surrounds him and that at nigth suddently wears black, its though to be some inhuman spirit who pll are afraid of / or respected and that does wrongs into rigth.

The Golden Age Batman is at his essence a moderm Zorro. Money rich background, the "buttler" as an assistance, moving outside the law, you name it.

Mescled with the Phantom by using the "criminals fear me, because i cant die" superstition.

Actually the Golden Age Batman resembles The Shadow , more then any other character. So much in fact his creators dropped his usage of a firearm in fear of a lawsuit...

I don't know about the others but Hyperion didn't appear until 1971, so Superman is hardly a rip off seeing how he appeared MUCH earlier.
