What is your understanding of the theory of evolution? Do you believe that life evolved from a primordial cell?

Eve did not exist.

Santa Clause does not exist.

The Easter Bunny does not exist.

Therefore, your point does not exist.

agree x 6

I dont believe in Satan.. but then I dont believe Adam and Eve were the first man and woman either.

Tell me, what is the difference between a hydrogen atom in a living cell and one in a rock?

The way they are arranged.

Yes, but is one atom living and the other not living?

Is this a trick question? There is no difference between a hydrogen atom in a living cell and one in a rock. What is your point?

No.

He's trying to tell you that living matter and nonliving matter have identical building blocks.

There is no point where life is and is not in the world of the very small. Therefore, the idea that life came from nothing is a fallacy because there is no braking point.

I don't follow what you are saying.

The reason you do not believe in evolution is because you believe in creation. I am showing you how creation is not necessary for evolution to work just fine.

(Should I do it? Should I split hairs? Oh, alright, I will do it).

No, the reason that I do not believe in evolution because:

1) I believe in God (YHWH).

2) The Theory of Evolution is not plausible.

But you are presupposing that evolution "works" (let alone that it works fine). Evolution does not work. No scientist anywhere in the world has proven that evolution of all life has occurred (why do you think that it is called the "Theory of" evolution? It is not called the "Fact of" evolution because scientists are still grappling with how fundamental aspects of the Theory of Evolution happened. In fact, scientists (with all of the resources, knowledge, and technology at their disposal) have failed to create life, how in the world do you think that random, chance, irrational, impersonal, unintelligent occurrence was capable of doing so?

Again, what is the difference between a hydrogen atom in a living cell and a rock?

God created the rock. The devil created the hydrogen cell to distract you from Jesus.

😆 Why didn't JIA come up with that?

1) The existence of a God does not deny the possibility of evolution.

2) When you say plausible you are analyzing it in a scientific way, and scientifically it is very plausible(i. e. probable) but it is not proved. Heliocentrism is true, and the church denied it too. Fortunately later observations allowed people to see the truth.

A theory is not necessarily something not proved, there are proved theories and not proved theories.

I think there is people who thinks that life happened by chance, but evolution is not saying that. That is only a possible interpretation of the meaning of the theory of evolution. Using evolution to try to make the point that life happened by chance is an extrapolation.

I guess you will never answer my question, so I will answer it for you. There is no difference between a hydrogen atom in a living or non-living thing. This is true for all elements, but elements do have reactions, they are not static. This is called chemistry. Chemistry works in living and non-living things in the same way. We can predict what is going to happen to a degree. However, how these simple building blocks go together under a variety of conditions is so vast, that we are still finding new arrangement (molecules or chemical compounds) today. This is a natural process that has been going on for billions of years. Human life evolved because there is no difference between living and non-living at the level of the sub-atomic. Life is a chemical byproduct of complex chaotic chemistry.

The existence of God does negate and preclude evolutionary process because God created all life came into existence after God said/created them.

Then if evolutionary theory is not proven, why do you believe it?

Yes, evolutionary thinking does state that all life (apart from God) came about by chance. There is no other way to understand or express this apart from God. If there is no "Creator" then life came into being without intelligent Cause. This presupposes that life came about by blind, random, chance ocurrence. Design is the antithesis of chance and randomness.

Both chance and a creator do not exist. The universe is a far more wondrous place then you can imagine.
