The villains in the Schumacher films were appalling, I agree. Despite Harvey Dent not being a black man, I'd have been far more pleased with Billy Dee Williams for Two-Face than the mess we got in Batman Forever. (To be fair, that isn't necessarily TLJ's fault, because he's the actor, not the writer or director, and he does in the end have to do what he's told, so when they decided that all Batman villains should just be Joker-impersonations, he sort of had to suck in his gut and do it.) That's why we got a joker-riddler, the abomination known as Mr. Freeze, and a Bane that couldn't decide if he was a human being or not.
Another rumored person is Edward Norton, who I think is a fantastic actor, but also not right for the part. However, I think he'd be an amazing Riddler.
My favorite suggestions out of all the rumors so far that I've heard have been Liev Shrieber, Guy Pearce, and Eion Bailey (I don't think I'm spelling that right). They look the part, are around the right age for it, and they could pull off a transition like which is needed - especially Guy Pearce. Hell you know what, Hugh Jackman would even be a good choice, but that'll never happen.
Eckhart might not be too bad, but I think they could do better. Still...he's better than Jake Gylenhaal.
If they did go with a black man for Dent, I'd much rather see that Denzel Washington rumor than Foxx lol. But I'm still hoping for someone like Liev or Guy.
What do you guys think about that "Matt Damon turned it down" thing? I personally don't think he was a really good choice anyway. He's a good actor but I can't see him as Two-Face.

Glad Matt Damon turned it down. I try not to put to much stock in every rumor I read.
