The Dark Knight Discussion (Use Spoiler Tags)

The mobsters not confirmed are Sal Maroni, Rupert Thorne, Roman Sionis, Tony Zucco, Great White, Red Hood....but, look at the list:

Zucco - Can't have him without Robin
Great White - Would be a waste.
Sionis - No way.

So that leaves Maroni, Thorne, and Red Hood...obviously, Maroni has a shot since we know Two-Face's deal with him, and there's potential for the Red Hood to be involved, since its The Joker...Thorne, I can see him looking the most like, but chances are he's either one of the others two. My guess is he's Maroni, but its a bit of an odd choice for casting if you ask me.

Hey guys this may be false but someone at my school said his freind's cousin is playing Robin in The Dark Knight and it is supposed to be a secret.

There is no Robin in TDK. Most likely in a future installment of the franchise.

Maroni is being played by Roberts, and they just cast someone for the mayor, but I forget his name.

Eric Roberts is Sal Maroni, good choice. Nestor Carbonell is playing Mr. Mayor.

Heath Ledger as the Joker.

Anthony Michael Hall's been cast....no clue at all who he could be, lol. I can't picture him as anyone, but for some reason, I kind of think this might be cool. Hey...maybe Batman will fight the Breakfast Club, haha. Or, if Hall's got that flare gun....Firefly? Haha j/k. I bet he'll probably just be like another person running for District Attorney or something.

According to Hall himself, his role is supposed to be a surprise. I don't have a clue as to who he is playing. I can only guess maybe someone both Harvey and Bruce know???

I can't picture him being anyone from the normal gallery...especially when dealing with the realism factor. The only villains I can think of that could fit in these movies are:

Mad Hatter, Hugo Strange, Deadshot, Black Mask, Ventriloquist, Bane, David Cain, Red Hood, Calendar Man, Holiday, Firefly, Lock-Up, Reaper, Hangman......I can't picture him being any of those. That's why I just assume that he's going to be someone made up for the film that isn't a true VILLAIN per say, but just someone that gets in the way of Dent and maybe helps out Maroni or something.

on wikipedia it says that the scarecrow is making some sort of return in the dark knight. is this actually confirmed?

Cillian Murphy wishes to return, bt whether he will or not is undetermined

actually i believe hes signed on for the sequal. By this date he's either in it or not. Im guessing he will return. All signs point to Yes.

Most likely he'll be captured at some point and that'll be it...which I like. It'd be nice to see him decked out in some freakish Scarecrow costume while getting captured at the beginning of the movie or something.

Here is two new pics of the Joker along with a article from USA Today.

chris nolan is god

not sure about the balding, combed back, green hair look though. other than that though, AWESOME!!!!!

Idk...to me, "dark and disturbing" doesn't include bright green hair as opposed to a darker green, and a Hawaiian Punch mustache...I hope that isn't what he looks like throughout the whole movie as a finished product.

he didnt have a mustache, plusCillian Murphy is my favorite actorid rather see him as Batman but Scarecrow was goood. plus Zsaszisgonna be roundedup in the beginning. think Scarecrow should ecape and form a (mock to the joker) alliance where eh gets betrayed

and CHristy Nolan is farfromgodlynot even demi-Godly his visisons aregood but Burton and mine are better

They're not going to make Scarecrow a major villain again.

With the mustache comment I made, obviously it wasn't supposed to be taken as a LITERAL mustache. I'm talking about how he doesn't have a "scar that gives him the appearance of a smile" or the "perma-smile" thing...its just as if someone drew a smile on him with lipstick.

Anthony Michael Hall is portraying some aort of Batman wannabe.

Batman wannabe??
