Singer interested in btman/superman?

At IGN there is an article where Brian Singer states he is interested in a Batman vs Superman movie.

If this does happen then he would need to use Bale as Batman and Routh as Supes. If he goes about changing Bale as Batman then he might as well forget it!

It's a pretty ambious project. Might take two directors for this kind of a film.

It sounds like a horrible idea to me... I hope they never go through with it... probably won't since pretty much every critic with any sense thought Superman Returns wasn't as good as it was hyped up to be.

Personally I think Singer should have worked on X3 rather than Superman, but he didn't and that's why the third movie was so awful. 🙁

Haven't seen SR... just heard a lot that it wasn't as good as people thought it would be... saw X3 though... and wish I hadn't! Boy did they screw that one up!

X3 was absolute bullshit... and I liked Daredevil!

I liked Daredevil as well... Elektra on the other hand... didn't see it, don't care to either... just looks like an inferior film to me.

V for Vendetta like Batman Begins defines what a superhero movie is supposed to be.

I agree... V for Vendetta is very inspirational and let's us know there's a little bit of superhero in all of us. 🙂

Why?

If one guy can make 3 lord of the rings films of that scale, why can't singer or nolan make a movie with 2 characters?

Yeah, and a Bat/sup film isn't going to be the same scale as LOTR, so I think either one will be okay.

Were also talking about film that will also come after both directors have made a couple more films of both characters. I would'nt worry

I think film-wise in it's current state, Superman and Batman live in two entirely different worlds. Batman's (Batman Begins) setting consists of a more dark realistic touch while introducing Superman in some ways would place a crater in this universe.

Well movie studio execs only care about trends, or whats currently "Hip & Selling"

So we will definetly see what kind of response FF4 2 gets with two different superheroes in 1 film (FF4 & silver surfer)
