Well movie studio execs only care about trends, or whats currently "Hip & Selling"

Unfortunately so, as we have seen throughout the years. The very reason why we have had a spurt of comic book films these past few years, when it slows down there will be no more for us fans to enjoy as before.

I think film-wise in it's current state, Superman and Batman live in two entirely different worlds. Batman's (Batman Begins) setting consists of a more dark realistic touch while introducing Superman in some ways would place a crater in this universe.

I agree completely, they just have two different feels to them, universe wise.

✅ No crossover movie... oh god, please... NOOOOOOOO!!!

It could be good but I prefer a great Batman movie over a possibly good crossover. *Thinks about Freddy vs Jason*.

It was okay but when you see the other Alien films you can see that it does not deserve to be called a prequel to the Alien films.

Mmm... I have only seen Alien myself...

I have seen all of them and I have to say Aliens was the best one.

It was v. good...

It would be fantastic but Bryan Singer can't be the director - -"

Christopher Nolan would be a better fit.

If it ever happened they would both have to make, Singer and Nolan, they would have to team up and work together to make it possible... even though I think it wouldn't work... they're just too different, the feel of the films I mean...

If there was a batman/superman movie... they would kind of have to have the whole setting be a different story. New Director, new actors. No Brandon Routh, no Christian. This movie is 5 years off at least. They should have Tom Welling play superman. If it is 5 years later. How fitting.

The problem in addition to Batman being in Supes realm is simply the mood of the movie. Superman movies are a lot more light hearted while Batman is darker. If they did decide to make the movie I'd rather have it be Batman VS Superman.

I'm thinking that Superman would branch out of Metropolis and start helping in Gothem. Supes then gets all of Batman's spotlight and it starts making him jealous. It then becomes a bit of a competition until they end up meeting each other at a robbery or something. Maybe a big name Batman baddy is involved and Supes intervines stopping the bad guys. This pushes Batman over the top and attacks Superman and Supes pretty much kicks his ass in a one sided battle. Hearing of Batman's jealousy, Lex Luther contacts Bats and makes a deal with him (obviously kryptonite is involved in the deal going to Batman). Batman and Superman get in another fight later in the movie that Batman is winning in and is about to kill Superman (with the help of that Kryptonite of course). He then learns (probably with Superman informing him in some sort of begging way) that Lex had tricked Batman into dispensing of Superman while Lex is going through with his world wide evil plans. Superman eventually convinces Batman to spare him and they team up to take Lex down. The movie concludes with Batman getting the media spotlight while Superman is satisfied with being as purely good as he is.

someone needs to watch their spelling when making a thread 😛

nah that sounds liek a really bad movie

Go to the Batman/Superman: The Movie thread in the Batman Forums. tell me if that is dark enough

I prefer chase's script, that would be a movie i want to see

I dont see this happening, and hopefully it wont...The Budget would be like 800 million dollars...and i doubt hollywood would be able to put aside egos that would need to be checked in order to even get the movie off the ground......Daredevil was an ok movie, but it had the potential to be a great movie
