That's not latitude lines, latitude is the angular distance north or south of the earth's equator
No the same thing was stated with Northstar and Aurora they have never needed to travel at their full potential

Only in that incident as he had to rip out a power battery as well as the suit was already damaged and this was prior to his Qwrlln upgrade.
