Maybe because it's been said by the author that Exar is the greatest to second greatest sith lord. He has his amulet which could finish him pretty quickly, or else his saber skills and force powers are pretty much beyond the Exile's...

Amulet blasts? What's so great about those. Simple force attacks if you ask me. And The Exile was able to contend with Nihlus, and even more impressive Traya and Sion. She would destroy Exar.

Now tell me, can the Exile replicate that? Could she replicate what an inexperienced Exar Kun was able to do at that point in time? I've seen nothing that supports it.

No, he did that AFTER he killed them, it was Nihilus who with a move, drained his opponents....
And I didn't see Mace punch through the droids, I only saw him punching them until they stopped working or fell over, like when TPM Obi kicked Battle doirds except more powerful and small parts where flying....

Granted that Exar Kun would destroy the Exile, where does the author state that Kun was the greatest or second greatest sith Lord? I think it's already been established that Marka Ragnos was the most powerful sith lord, while Palpatine was the greatest Sith Lord...
