Again I tell you, stats may be considered N-canon, but they actually DO apply considering the fact of what Chee said. I wont mention that the sourcebook is approved by Lucas because that's irrelevant, but Chee said that these RPG stats are specifically made to measure one's power against another. And like I said, it does add to the part about Ragnos being the most powerful of the most powerful, but since it's N-Canon I won't go there. All I know is it's a hell of a lot more conclusive than Palpy being the strongest ever(which again is as ambiguous as hell in terms of a power vs. ancient sith/anybody)
ok let me ask you something..Let's say these stats said that Obiwan>Kun... Would they be Valid? Of course not, because they clearly contradict ANY canon text. Showing Ragnos' stats doesn't mean he can defeat Palpatine, Kun, or even Obiwan in a 1 on 1 duel, it just simply shows how powerful he really is. Are you understanding here?
Yes, the stats are a comparison, but then again - if Vader's stats trump Exar Kun's...then what of it? Am I personally to believe that Darth friggin' Vader, who Lucas referred to as a "half crippled droid" is better than Exar Kun, the single most powerful Force of the Old Republic days?
Answer: Hell no.
Thus stats cannot be an acceptable form of an argument. The stories/character description's clearly have some facts behind them, and aren't based on stuff like "HP and l33t magick skillz". As I told you before, I personally don't believe in using stats for that very reason; also I didn't realize Vader > Kun according to the statbooks lol.

Yea neither did I sama, I suppose that's right but I would consider the stats ideal for measuring character x and character y, and considering they don't contradict anything then why not? Lightsnake seems to get really mad about this, I'm just trying to show an example. And putting Vader>Kun is like putting Yoda>ragnos.. Apparently there's more appeal to the movies and books than to TOTJ but that's fine.
