The wages of sin is death. Death is first spiritual then physical (i.e., spiritual death precedes physical death. The reason that people die physcially is because of sin.) That is why we need to be born again because our spirit is separated from God. Once we are born again our flesh is still subject to the law of sin and death. For this reason, the body will still die, but the spirit (that is born again or alive to God again) will live forever in God's presence.

Degradation of spirituality. I doubt your spirituality is anywhere near the level attained by a lot of Christians who have been 'born again'. Have you ever spoken in tongues, or received a relevation from God, or worshipped God and felt true peace? Didn't think so.
