Ultimate Adamantium

The so called 'Indestructible metal' of the 616 universe is no longer unbreakable within the Ultimate universe.

Let's look over the facts ...

Wraith states in Ult X-men #3 that it's a 'semi-Indestructible' metal

In issue #11 Wolverine is sealed inside a 'adamantium cage' and fury later states a Iraqi shell blew it to bits

Ultimate Hulk versus Wolverine
Also how would such a 'Indestructable' metal fit into the Ult universe . If it's supposed to be more realistic a unbreakable metal wouldn't even exist....

Ultimate pwns, and Adamantium bein indestructible is lame... 🙂

So is Ultimate Cap's shield not indestructable?

Dont think so ?

What if Ultimate adamatium is just as strong as it is in the 616 reality but everything in the Ultimate U is so much stronger.

Hey its possible. 😮

An iraqi tank shell is so much stronger in the Ultimate universe????

Adamantium was never truly "indestructible"... it just couldn't be destroyed by most means humans have at their disposal

The adamantium cage probably had to have had standard steel or titanium hinges/joints that would have been more vulnerable to attack

Ult Hulk versus Wolverine was the first time one of their matches made sense, his legs were ripped from his torso meaning that the spinal cord was severed.... the spine is not a solid piece of bone, it's many small, interlinking bones that are NOT joined together like a chain... basically all the Hulk did was rip away the tendons/ligaments/cartilage/other stuff that fills the space between the bones

✅ Why wouldnt anyonme know that...?

And Bingo was his name-o. 👆

i know a guy called Bingo... 😄

No material is truely indestructable. Not even 616 Cap's shield which is supposed to be the strongest natural (non-magical/mystical) object in the universe. RK Thor did a number on it.

Also, we don't even know if Ultimate Adamantium has the same molecular construction as 616 Adamantium. For all we know, what the Ultimate universe refer to Adamantium could be secondary adamantium or even carbonadium (Omega Red's tenticles).

I don't think it has ever been confirmed...........

1. Eh makes sense to me 😬

2. Bad writing 😐

3. Wolverine dosent have adamantium ligaments, so basicly his arms and legs can be ripped off 😖hifty:

Exactly. On all counts.

I understand all of the 'ligaments can be ripped' etc etc. But I doubt the writers actually thought of that ...

does anyone know when the next ish of Ult. Hulk Vs Wolvie comes out anyway?
