Earlier in the issue, didn't Jennifer Walters ask Wolverine about if his ligaments were coated in adamantium? I think they did think of it.

The so called 'Indestructible metal' of the 616 universe is no longer unbreakable within the Ultimate universe.

Let's look over the facts ...

Wraith states in Ult X-men #3 that it's a 'semi-Indestructible' metal

In issue #11 Wolverine is sealed inside a 'adamantium cage' and fury later states a Iraqi shell blew it to bits

Ultimate Hulk versus Wolverine
Also how would such a 'Indestructable' metal fit into the Ult universe . If it's supposed to be more realistic a unbreakable metal wouldn't even exist....

1) yeah semi as in nothing is truly indestructible, but adamantium comes close.
2) the cage itself isn't destroyed so its likely parts of it aren't adamantium. thats why you see it in one piece, but opened.
3) like someone else said Hulk tears the ligaments or spinal cords, not the adamantium.

If the ultimate universe is supposed to be more realistic then we wouldn't be reading the comic would we? as in mutants, like adamantium, don't exist 😉

"More realistic" doesn't imply stringent adherence to actuality.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but just because something is more realistic doesn't mean it's completely true or scientifically possible. "😉"

[Sarcasm] Oh yes , I should really give credit to the guy who decides to tie marvel in with lost. [/Sarcasm]

Well, if it was stated in the comic itself, I think the credit is due. 😬

They did. It was mentioned in passing by Jen Walters. Millar even mentioned in a interivew that he doesn't know why none of Wolverine's super strong adversaries thought of it before.

No , what I'm saying is , is that the man is too focused on writing lost then on this.

Think Bagely/Bendis when they got Ult Carnage confused with Normal Carnage. Their to focused on one to separate it from the other....

Then I'll accept that.

To be honest I'd actually agreed with you guy's a while back about the ligaments . But i needed a third thing for my adamantium rant so i wanted to see what the reactions would be.
