When it says that he consumed whole worlds, it means that he consumed every inhabitant of the world. You obviously haven't read the comic where he performs said feat. He drains the life from every inhabitant, however he does nothing to any insentient object.

Using your faulty dumb crap logic, why stop there. Everything in the galaxy is made up of the force, and because he can consume the force, he must therefor be able to consume anything in an instance.
