My favorite episode would be episode 1, I can't decide between the other 5.

In order......

1. TESB(BEST Star Wars film PERIOD!!!, Vader, Yoda, and Solo, and Calrissian)
2. ANH(Classic masterpiece, Tarkin, Vader, and Alec Guiness as Kenobi, Han Solo)
3. ROTS(Most action, Mace Windu and Yoda)
4. ROTJ(Vader's redemption and the Emperor also green lightsaber)
5. AOTC(Darth Tyranus and big Jedi battle, arguably most visually stunning)
6. TPM(Darth Maul and Qui Gon Jinn)

Don't get me wrong all of them are masterpieces in cinema, but the ones with Darth Vader are just cool. If there's one that should be redone it's ROTJ.

Not in the top 3, probably number 4, leaving the last two to fight over the last spots.

How can ROTJ outrank ANH?

Because, the only thing I didn't really like in ROTJ was those damn ewoks.

Which take up a lot of screen time.

And you did like Ford's wooden acting? And Leia being Luke's sister? And a rambling rebel fleet beating a superior Imperial Space Force?

Alright! You are bringing all the bad stuff out! The only saving factor, one which I have watched countless times was the Luke/Vader/Sidious scenes.

Okay I agree with you. I love those too. ROTJ has quite a few good scenes unparralled in the PT, but unfortunately they make up only a relatively small part of the movie. ANH is much better balanced IMHO.
