'kill all who oppose'this happens in the more fierce debates. rather than see a debate as a collection of many ideas, both intelligent and downright stupid, some view it as a line in the sand. you are with them (intelligent) or against them (retarded). these people are usually scorned and angered by other members forcing them into a type of primitive herding instinct. anyone on their side is supported and unconditionally agreed with, regardless of their statements, while anyone on the opposition is viciously cut down, regardless of their statements.
poster 1: *brings up some valid points* *punctuates it with a jab/insult*
poster 2: *counters with some valid point* *punctuates it with a counter jab/insult*
poster 3: *agrees with a particular point of poster 1*
poster 2: *insults poster 3*
Although, those who have no points and just insult, or take appropiate insults as offence instead of adressing the posters points, happens in similar situations, and are really stupid.

i guess you're done fixing the forum? have you abandoned your quest for forum peace, harmony, and good will for off-topic douchebaggery and ad hominem dribble? guess so. now die in a fire 😊

ive seen many instances where otherwise level headed people lash out like a cornered dog. maybe its more instinctive than idiotic since it seems to be a kneejerk reaction, but i see it happen plenty of times.

Rather an over the top response to a throw away comment, talking about the value of this thread in reply to another poster, wasn't it?

actually it was ad hominem, as in directed at me, as opposed to the topic (which is a colaberation of entries from other members as well). but you already know that.
anyway, my request still stands + a sprinkling of aids.

thats swell. hey i have an idea. why dont you brainstorm for any future pointless off-topic adjectives, compile them all into one post, and then...leave?
Look 2DMaster asked a question, I gave him another question, he gave me a reply, to which I replied and you started wishing death and aids on me.
Whatever 😬
