But I think you are right. Are the Jehovah's Witnesses just a fundamentalist sect of Protestant then? I was always under the impression they were far from other Christian religions as far as doctrine. And I have JW relatives 😕

If they are Christian, but not Orthodox, Catholic, or LDS....i guess its Protestant.

Yes, basically 'Protestant' is a term used for any Christian Religion that is not Catholic or Orthodox.

I know a lot of Anglicans, Presbyterians, etc would feel insulted to be lumped in with the JWs.

Most groups are insulted to be lumped in with other groups.
