...more irony. 🙂

I'll still be rooting for the Steelers, but hopefully I hang onto the win. Dropping to 0-2 would be pretty devestating with the talent in our league.

Being a Steelers fan, too, I'm right there with you.

Go Reed and D! Let's see if we can get Porter to take another one to the house!

On a separate but related note, I also need the combined score to be 35 points or less to win my office pool. But I'll take a Steelers victory - straight out - over all of that FFL and office pool junk.

OMG I died yesterday...from 1st in week one to 8th in week 2.....Christ....

Doesn't Thomas Jones rush for more than 64 $$$$ing yards a game?

He's a better rusher, but they've invested so much in Cedric Benson, that he has to see a significant amount of time on the field.

So, to answer your question, no.

It's really depressing because I had 2 young backs, Addai and Rhodes in my backfield, starting, but because RB's get so many fantasy points, I ended up trading Addai for Jones. Then yesterday, Addai gets 102 all purpose yards and a TD....😬 I can't win.

Oh wait. You're Mangler, right? I thought it was someone else.

Anyway, I hope Ben rushes for 9 TDs, and the Steelers win 63-62. Yeah, best of both worlds.

😎

😂

Don't you mean, 72-71? (Steelers go for 2 on Ben's 9 TD's and make it each time -- thus keeping Jeff Reed off the field)

if nothing else the lions run D has been very good, they controlled seattle and the bears run games. And Benson is gonna get time, before he got hurt during the season he was supposed to be the starter.

should i start Bears D or Ravens D??

I started the Ravens D in week 1 then I started the Bears D in week 2. Havent been burned yet with this method, so maybe Ravens D? what do you guys think?

bears play vikings ravens play browns.. id say its a pretty easy choice.

id say its a pretty easy choice.

uhh not really

The Vikes actually have a team. Cleveland, not so much. I think that's what he meant.

But you'll be fine with either one, really.

do you watch football?

vikes 2-0 beat 2 NFC playoff teams from last year, and have played very very well. Browns havnt been good in quite a while, are 0-2 and have a rookie QB. How is this a hard decision? You take the D that plays the worst team, if you cant figure out which of these teams is worse just dont play fantasy. But really ravens or bears should generally always be a pretty good start, but one will likely always have a better matchup.

duh

actually buddy its never really easy to choose between the ravens or bears...definitely when the two teams they're playing are the Vikes and the Browns. Except if one is going against the Colts while the other the Lions, then its easy, but not so much in this case.

the vikes and browns are worlds apart

Young QBs get eaten alive by good D's. At least Brad Johnson won't turn it over too much, even if they Vikes get stuffed as well. So I'd start the Ravens without question. Though I agree that it's not a easy decision, and either one would be fine.

depends on league scoring of course, but D scoring is generally pretty standard, Ravens are also the #1 D in points and play the far worse team.

Yeah, but anyone with those 2 D's is freaking set for the season, defensively speaking....so it's not a huge deal either way.

.....

I'm a combined 5-1 in my 3 leagues. Good times. 🙂

I really only root for my players in the league that's for money. The others I'm interested in and make waiver-moves and such, but don't care either way really.

And Cadillac has taken a vacation and I'm still 2-0 so I consider myself lucky at this point (Deuce is getting the start instead next week).

Congrats, Mark, on your victory. Jeff Reed did not make it on the field, unless there's some secret points for kicking off.

Thanks. And for what it's worth, I gladly would have lost to you if it meant the Steelers winning.

Fortunately, football's a marathon, not a sprint, so not a whole lot has been determined at this point in the season.

Now I have Gado in Houston...but Lundi will get most of the touches....so I don't know what to do with the RBs. Rhodes has 2 TDs this year, but like, 40 total yards....what a joke.
