true dat. Wanna trade. I'll give you Smith for him. 😉

Anyway, prepare to be pwned everyone.

Or not.

...yeah, one of those two.

😮

i was actually fairly even on both Heath and LJ.. but LJ plays skins, giants, dalls id rather have cinci, ravens, browns

Meh, looks like I'm going down in week 1 in our league.

But I won this week in the league that matters (not that this one doesn't, but it's not for money) so it's all good.

Oh, and I love Jeff Wilkins (21 points for a freaking kicker!)

Who is the Terrors? It looks like they will beat me. I'm down 15 points, and it depends what Moss and Gates do for me, and Portis and Cooley do for him tonight.

Also, I want to trade for Stallworth so give me an offer or something.

moss and gates have more potential for huge games at least. Portis will play but as a backup role. so theres always hope.

we need a list of teams in the league and their KMC user-name counterparts. I only know who a few teams are besides my own.

😬

Im way ahead of you

whod of thought my QB/WR woulda been my week 1 problem a week or 2 ago? always crazy how fantasy works out

cool.

Guys, would any of you consider dropping Reuben Droughns and picking up someone like Brandon Jacobs and Jerius Norwood?

No. Hold on to Droughns. A mediocre full-time back is still a lot better than a great #2 back. You're sure to get points with him every week....Jacobs and Norwood, not so much.

I agree with your logic, but that didn't happen in week 1. 🙁

And, CLE has some of the worst possible divisional opponents as far as trying to muster an adequate ground game. They play CIN, BAL, and PIT.

2 are monster Rush defenses, and third is high powered offense that makes using a RB useless when you're down 20.

(sigh) 😕

True enough, but he'll still be good for at least 15 carries a game, and usually 20+.

Who are you backups? You could start someone else (maybe even a Jacobs or somesuch) when Cleveland plays Pitt or Balt. But I'd at least keep him on your team.

Knee-jerk reactions are rarely good (especially with RBs) but you may have to bench him occasionally to maximize your points.

i would assume you have backup RB's on your team.. so drop a backup for one of those guys if you like them better. Jacobs has nice upside because he has really improved over the off season and if tiki gets hurt Jacobs is poised to be a big time back.

Tiki dropped some possible retirement after this season hints a while back too. Jacobs would be a more-than-adequate starter for most teams.

you cant add/drop players after the draft?

Nope, coz it's a keeper pool.

So, anyhow, even WITH my depleted lineup, I ended up in first after week one somehow.

I get Jones this week (the trade was put off for some time) and that should help too.

Thank god for Joey Porter, who was HUGE and for the usuals, like Jason Taylor and Hines Ward and Tom Brady...

didnt brady have a pretty mediocre game? i think he had 1 TD a fumble and i know under 200 yards.

Brady will come around. Sure, his WRs suck, but he's a top-notch QB, even for fantasy purposes. I wouldn't worry there.

Indeed. .....more or less looking to shore up my roster in case an injury happens to LT or CTaylor. If I have to rely on Droughns, it won't be pretty, that's why I'm asking.
