-Cap threw his metal sheild at Magneto even though he's 100x smarter than that
-Iron Man got beaten by Wolverine even though IM is 1000x smarter than the way he is portrayed in it
-Iron Man and Thor had a major PIS aura, as they for some reason decided to run straight into Colossus rather than using their actuall intelligence or skills and just let themselves get beaten up
-Hawkeye who dosent use trick arrows in Ult. Marvel used trick arrows AND had a nuke?!?! 🤨 You cant have a small range Nuke, that dosent have radiation, it dosent work that way

Ok, points taken... though how many of them are related to Colossus? Iron Man is a cocky bastard, he thought he could take pete down, but he was just caught out...
Alot of characters are overrated.
Magneto(i'm guilty of this)
Surfer(again guilty)
Superman
Thor
Majestic
Wolverine
BA
Stardust
BRB
and more.
But in all honesty, the characters i tend to overrate, are the ones who imo should be either top of the heap or damn close to it.
Looking at Magnetos powerset, he should be damn near godly. His powerset leaves room for that.
Surfer, the same as well.
His application of power has always been his downfall, not the amount.
Seeing him create a hungry hole, was just insane. And the pc is pretty much whatever the heck it needs to be. His powerset leaves room for interpretation.
Thor, imo should be limited to energy absorbtion and the like for his hammer. No tampering with souls, etc. But the hammer is a plot device by nature, so its plausible.
GL should own damn near anybody. Cosmics included.
The limited bricks however, aren't the most deserving of praise, imo.
They punch and some shoot things out their eyes. They aren't plot devices by nature, but writers use them as some.
The whole, seal wholes in reality thing, was almost as bad as Hulk thunderclapping a universe away.
Bricks aren't meant to be versatile. Hence the word brick. They punch things and take punches.
When strength becomes the fix all thing factor it often is in comics, that pisses me off.
Nothing worse than uninspired writing.
And cockstroking to go along with it only makes it worse.
And yeah, thats aimed at Superman and his homages.
Hals ring decided Superman had a lesser will, but now its the bestest will in the universe??
Who do we believe??
Other characters suddenly becoming ineffectual, when in the past have proven more than a match??
Yeah, as a fan of said character, thats gonna piss me the fukk off.
And the ones with jobber auras are the most guilty of it normally.
But not spiderman. He is severely underrated on boards.
He'd own batman, and the bat clan if written decently.
He'd own Deathstroke, as long as Deathstroke isn't having one of his "i take punches from Superboy and only grunt" days.
Many are overrated, but few deserve it. When the powersets make room for it, theres no problem imo.

thor in ultimate, to me, is weaker than he should be, so i dunno...
IM, could, but he was caught out by logan, he was careless, every avenger was angry, and i think they let that get the best of them...
And that still doesnt take anything away from colossus... in 616 he's pretty badass too... especially in astonishing since his return...
