Lol... to be fair, there are considerations... that was a fleet of alien ships who hadnt landed, they were in mid air, the x-men weren't, they were in the middle of a city, you can't bring down a shower of lightning into a populated area... 😛
i thought thor was weak when he fought the ultimates in #6, i was expecting more from him... 😬
if we're talking a straight fight, then of course ult. thor should flatten ult. colossus... but i'll bet thor, like the other avengers, underestimated the x-men due to their youth... that coupled with marvels insistence that the ultimate x-men are closer in ability to the ultimate avengers than their 616 counterparts surely counts for something...
i'm not saying colossus should beat thor, i'm just saying that everyone has bad days...
and their intel on the x-men at the time couldnt have been that good either... 😬

well thats the point isnt it? the ultimates are meant to be different... i hate parts of ultimate too because of the changes they've made...
