"Football? I didn't know about that. My so called teachers just knocked me out of bed. And forced me out here if i didn't get out. They would kick me really hard repeatly. And even when we get there. I think we have to turn around, i plan on running away. Some other people are in. You wanna get in?" He said jogging faster.
"I don't know. My dad use to say it all the time." Kage said and waved at Rae. He had remembered her from when he saved her. Well itleast tried to from the giant guy. He jogged over to her smileing. "Hey you wanna sneak out with us. We can leave his place." He said low enough so the trainers couldn't hear.
Raevynn continued to jog down the gravel road towards a destination she was still unsure of.
"Hey you wanna sneak out with us. We can leave his place." Said the boy that had tried so hard to help her back in the barracks.
"No. Thank you." She said, arching an eye brow at Wise. "You both are crazy. You two will get hurt, or maybe killed."
Raevynn wanted to say more, but strange enough, her lungs started to burn from the stress they had been put through. Her stomach felt like it was tied in a knot and her head pounded with pain. She thought she might collapse soon. It didn't help when she saw Kage fall to the floor unconcious.
Raevynn double over and threw up all over the floor in front of her. Thankfully the whole group had come to a stop, so she didn't receive a beating for slowing her pace.
"Welcome Spartans." Came a strange, heavily accented voice from in front of her. She was still staring at the floor, and when she looked up, she spotted a transparent blue-green figure standing atop a flight of white stairs. It looked like a man draped in robes, but Raevynn knew better. It wasn't a man at all. It was an A.I. There school had a similar program.
"Well boy's and girls, this is your new teacher. You'll be attending classes with Sidhartha every day here at the Acedemy." Grumbled Mendez. "Now triple time it up those steps, trainiees!"
Raevynn did so without hesistation. She was glad to get away from Mendez as well as all the watchfull trainees, even it was for school. Atleast now she'd have a chance to relax and maybe get to know some of the other children a little better.
Mendez snapped his stare in Wise's direction. He gave the boy a death glare that would send a shiver down his little spine.
"Get that taken care of, soldier." Mendez barked at one of the trainers, who immediately scooped up Kage and carried him up the stairs towards the Naval Academy.
"As for you," Mendez snarled, turning his attention back to Wise. "Drop and give me 25 for speaking out of line! You may proceed to class when you've finished."
