[Bump ><]

After dissapearng, Axel had lead the three men following him on a run through trees and boulders, and he'd smacked another ones knee with a rock in the process. He hated violence, but he didn't really have a choice. As he ran out of the rocks, leaving the men still inside, he started running back for the others, making sure to run beside other foot prints.

"Come on." Axel said, appearing behind Abbra. He reached out, and grabbed onto her, wrapping his arms underneath her arms, and bracing himself with his left leg dug deep into the snow.

Right when the story ended, a Pelican appeared. It held Mendez, and off came to troops, who gave Michael a shot of the same stuff as the other one, though not as strong.
"We'll take it from here." Mendez told the trainer, and they were gone into the distance, for Michael to be dropped in the middle of nowehere with only his wits to survive.

(Double Posting to move things along 😛 Forgive me pleash!)

The Pelican came to a halt, the blind folded boy dropped down in to the dense trees, far from the others, though he could find them on his own.
"Let's go." Mendez nodded to the pilot, and they left back for the Facility.

After five minutes of noiseless sleep, Michael was awakened by light footsteps, not to far off in the distance. He had no clue where he was, or what he had to do, but he followed them, and came to a clearing ahead. He saw sets of footprints, and not to far ahead, two other children.
"Hey! Wait up!" He called out, hoping to get thier attention. He didn't enjoy being alone...

*Running as fast as he could, Parker shrieked as he passed two of the other children. The men chasing him were farther behind, but followed the footprints until they ran into two of them. They aimed their guns at them and prepared to fire*

Abbra's jaw fell open as she saw Axel, 'Oh thank God it's you!' She said almost willing to kiss him. She watched the man get down on one knee and prepare to shoot her. Abbra hurled the small rock in her hand and tried to pull herslef up with Axel's help. 'Why'd you come back?' She asked steding herself in the snow. 'I mean it would have been much easier too...' She said trailing off.

"I went the opposite direction of the others." Axel said, and starting helping her up the hill, the snow was deeper here and it was difficult, but Axel was used to snow. "Then went in a circle to meet up but saw you here so I decided to help you instead." He looked away, she asked why he came back? "How could I not?"

Abbra made her way up the hill with Axel's help.'You must be really strong.' She said knowing he was doing most of the work. 'Your the only one who came back, out of all the kids. I'm so happy to see you right now.' She said thinking of what could have happened if he hadn't of come.

Michael saw that the two children couldn't hear him, and turned to see what they were running from. No less then six men armed with weapons were running after them. Luckily, from where he was he couldn't be seen, so he took cover in the nearby trees. He picked up a blunt rock, large enough to beat someone senseless and waited for the last man to come running by.

He was fairly close, and the tackle took the armed man by suprise. though, Michael didn't know they were only paint rounds, he hit the man to death with the rock, not taking any chances. He took the paint ball gun and, in turn, shot every other man in the head or leg. Michael's first though is that they would all die or be in pain... Well, he was wrong. The men yipped and turned to see only the dead man, and the slight russel of a bush. Michael was darting off, hoping that the men would follow.

They did, and they were rather faster then he was, but Michael was much smarter. He ran lightfooted, and in a zigzag pattern. They werefast, but they still couldn't keep up with him. He broke into a clearing, and ran full speed across the deep snow, eventually finding another set of trees. He jumped up, far up, into one and just sat, hoping they would past by.

The four of them sprinted to a nearby boulder and crouched down, huddling together to keep hidden.

In the clearing before them was their objective: The flag.

Raevynn poked her head out from behind the rock to take in the situation. In the very middle of the clearing was a square shaped cement block. Planted in the center of it was a long pole attached to a bright red flag. She had never been so excited to see such a simple object.

Although they were so close to the flag, there were other things that made capturing it a little complicated. Two men with big guns stood side by side, talking quietly about something as they watched over the flag. Although two was a small number, there could be more of those guys hiding out in the woods.

She pulled herself back behind the rock and looked over her fellow Spartans.
"Bad guys." She whispered, pointing her thumb over her shoulder. "Someone needs to go that way and keep that man busy." She added, pointing to the left. "I'll go the other way and take care of the other man. The last two people will stay here and wait for those men to start shooting. When they aren't looking you can grab the flag and run away."

*Stopping, Parker picked up a small, sharp rock and flung it at one of the men. It cracked the mans visor and knocked him on his back. Parker grinned and went straight for the flag, but was shot down on his stomach from the other man. Getting up, he found another rock and threw it at the mans hand, causing him to drop his gun. For that brief moment, Parker continued to run for the flag.*

The men had came trudging past, not even noticing Michael in the tree. After a few moments, he dropped down and began to try to head to what he thought was the end of the forest, o' course, he had no idea he was after a flag.

He trudged on and on, finding absolutely no end to the numerous trees. But finally, after what seemed like ages (The time it took you guys to reach the flag.), he emerged into a clearing, a flag just in the center. It was guarded by two armed men, though he didn't think they would use actual bullets. He ran, just as the other child did, though not as clumsily. He weaved through a number of bullets wich plummeted in from the forest, shooting back with his own weapon as if it would help. Instead of actually grabbing the flag, he ran past it and jumped on one of the men who had taken a fall, shooting his head visor numerous times, before jumping off, and taking a few hits to the back.
He turned to see the other man had gotted up again, but Michael just charged him as well, unloading a barrage of bullets into his face until he ran out of ammo.
"Get the flag!" Michael yelled, trying to use the other weapon to provide cover fire.

*Parker nodded and grabbed the flag, pulling it out of it's base. Then it dawned on him. What to do next? Call for evac? Or regroup with the others? It was only him and that one kid, fighting off the man. He knew sooner or later the ammo in that gun would run out, and he would be in trouble. He looked around franticly for somewhere to hide.*

"Back of the forest! It's clear!"
Michael yelled, sensing the confusion. He started a sprint to run towards the back, looking behind him for the other children. None were visible, so he kept running.

*Parker turned and ran after him. The flag was dragging him behind as it blew with the wind. He had almost reached the forest when a line of fire came up behind him. He shrieked again and started running faster, calling out* MOVE! MOVE! MOVE! *He ran right into the foilage of trees and kept running.*

(I hope my char is still alive and well ermm)

Axel turned, seeing one of his kin trip and fall. He spun, and turning, began his short journey to the other child's aid, a journey that might well be his last... Axel dropped to one knee at the other's side, reaching out with both hands he grabbed on with a death grip, and sprung back to his feet, hauling the other with him. Behind the other, the direction he was facing, he could see larger men moving toward them. He shoved the kid back behind himself, urging him to catch up to the others, before turning and following himself.

A paint shot entered the center of his vision, and for a second, the world went in slow motion. He could see the projectile rotating slowly, getting bigger, covering more of his field of view, and knew instantly where it's destination lay, and that he couldn't do a damn thing about it. Less than a second later Axel nearly spun all the way around as the shot hit him in the eye, crushing the soft flesh, caving it into his face, knocking him off his feet.

He staggered, fell, tripped, ending him going headfirst into a tree, at just the right angle to open up a gash from one side of his forehead to the other, and soon he would feel warmth washing down his face. The impact served to stop his uncontrolled trajectory, and he bounced back slightly, staggering back a few steps slowly, before dropping to his knees, shoulder slumped, head down, and back slightly bent. He was special, but he was after all, only a child.

Then the world seemed to go in slow motion. Children ran past him, and from the deep recesses of his mind, the only part he could hear and understand right now, he was glad they were going to make it. Nothing else but these thoughts entered his mind, the surface was screaming pain, so much it drown everything out, including itself. Sights were blurred, though his eye remained fixed on a spot of ground in front of him, and the sounds were muffled...far off...under water...

Then men wearing dark colors began walking past, as the world started to swim into slow motion. He watched each foot fall, he could hear each step as it echoed into his mind, feel the slight vibrations of the ground. There were no children now, only men in darkness...none had come to help him. He was glad. They could not, not when he was in a state like this... The less that helped, the more that made it to the entrance. As Axel sat, on his knees, all but defeated, warm blood pouring down his face, around his nose, some around his eyes, covering them in blood. two thoughts were in his mind when the hand came down into his view, and grabbed hold of his chest, and lifted him into the air, pulling him along. Life's brought me to my knees for now...but I don't bruise easily.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Axel will be back.

Some parting words...

Both from me and my character. ^_^

So close, no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trust in who we are
and nothing else matters

Never opened myself this way
Life is ours, we live it our way
All these words I don't just say
and nothing else matters

Trust I seek and I find in you
Every day for us something new
Open mind for a different view
and nothing else matters
