Wonder Woman vs. Black Adam

I have learned that on these board, unless your a Thor, Hulk, Superman, Captain Marvel, Ice Man, Flash , Namor fan, Your favorite toon looses no matter what. People say stuff like Black Adam can beat WW without ever proving how. It's just cannon that he can. NO explainations how or why. He just can. People say stuff like the magic lasso only makes people tell the truth and they have to be ensnared by it for it to work. Even after I have mentioned instances where it did more than make people tell the truth, and where all they have to do is touch it. But hey. People wanna hate on WW, fine. She still has the most powerful collection of weapons of any of the DC heroes, on top of all her powers.

I mean like tell them to do a task for her and not just telling her the truth

She uses the lasso for a variety of uses:

exorcise demons or malevent psychic entities.
heals wounds or diseases
cures insanity
can serve as a protection barrier
can set a person aflame with the fires of Hestia
as shown in Golden Perfect the lasso is intergal to the universe. If broken (only if Diana lies to herself) the universe will fold into itself do to lies (2+2 = Fish)
can disrupt magical spells and forcefields
can force people to do her bidding
can make people reveal their true form (i.e. human form)
can open dimensional portals
serves as conduit of Gaea's power, giving Diana constantly renewing power (i.e. healing factor)
can restore reality to its' proper timeline

Lots of uses. It's a plot device much like Thor's hammer and the Green Lantern ring

Was Golden Perfect the one where the lasso unraveled because Truth in the universe stopped existing? lol.

Yes. Since Diana is the Goddess of Truth and the lasso is integral to the universe's coherence, truth would unravel if Diana ever lied. Since mathematics is truth, if truth ever died the universe would literally start to implode since 2+2 must equal 4 and not fish in order for the universe to make sense and exist...

Even I didn't say she beats all. I want some serious dialogue as to why BA can Beat WW. I want to know how and the reasons why. NOt this B.S. He can and that's that.

Rucka stated in an interview that he knew it was one of the lasso's powers but he didn't pursue it.

Also the lasso should have freed Superman from his mental delusions. Maxwell Lord is not Hector Hammond. The lasso works on Gods when they suffer from mental delusions (i.e. Ares) so Superman being mindcontrolled shouldn't have been an issue...

The issue was half-done just so the core plot of WW killing someone could be issued.

It would have been fine if they actually explained WHY the lasso wasn't working...but they didn't.

I would just blame Superboy-Prime. Maybe the retcon punches was disrupting "truth" in the universe or something...

Another valid theory is that Gaea (Her spirit) and Hestia fled the mortal plane before the other Greek Gods did. So the lasso was possibly not as potent at that time.

Athena did mention Hestia is a "coward".
