Is Heaven Hard To Get Into?

To the womb! EEEWW!

cheers

In the end WE will know.........though not death cause energy will and cannot be distroyed..........and that is what we are.

No. Its not. The matter you are made of is. not the entity that is YOU.

Can YOU prove this??

Yes. A pile of C, H, O, and traces of other elemets is physically the same thing that we are.

Matter is matter is energy. (created and destroyed temporarily)

Yes, a pile of elements doesnt have consciousness, we do. When we die that goes away.

You seem so sure about the consciousness part.............and matter is matter which consistences of energy...........energy.........where does it go when it changes it's form?

There is no direct evidence for a physical basis for consciousness. Its the miracle of perception.

Actually it is a byproduct of brain function, and may not be necessary.

I agree, but to me its still miraculous.

Agreed.

I, being a behavioral psychologist, have difficulty with people citing consciousness as an evidence for spirit/mind. It is an interesting and miraculous phenomena, but it may not really even exist outside the functioning of the brain. The brain functions, and somehow consciousness occurs, it does not imply that there is anything separate from the functioning.

We are in agreement then.

Possible, but you can't prove that.. 🙄

What if you looked at it the other way around (outside of the box) That our mind and bodies only host something spectacular, and our bodies and brains are only vehicles for it...

Then, what is the impetus behind it? People claim this "consciousness" as causing/controlling bodily function, well, let us say it exists, is there then another sub-aspect that controls it? And then what controls this sub-aspect of consciousness, and what controls that controller?

It is unnecessary and probably inaccurate

We have yet to learn all the aspects of what this life is...........We think we do, just as every century did.....

What if, we are more than body and bones? What if there was something we don't quite understand as of yet, but is now being studies in the quantum field........And we are only vehicles to which we might want to experience experiences?

Edgar Mitchell, an Astronaut did some experiments while on an Apollo mission unbeknown to NASA........He came away with his own conclusions and forumed his own organisation called IONS......It is very interesting......I did get the subscription for one year.
