Black Panther # 25. I wonder if Hudlin has any idea who Storm was before getting her stuck in this title. In one section he has her debating with Reed Richards and in another he has her gushing over Hercules like a school girl. A white man no less, I thought he hated white folks.

i think hudlin probably read an issue from one of her earlier appearances, where characters repeatedly spoke their inner monologues and made decisions only to completely ignore them seconds later. also, i don't think he really knows who the falcon is, besides a black guy with wings. i mean, we all know that sam's always referred to t'challa as KING t'challa, and never as black panther. so it makes perfect sense that he'd refer to storm as QUEEN ororo, and not just storm.

and i don't remember the various heroes standing around for a few minutes while storm unsuccessfully fought clor in the main series. actually, i don't really remember the various heroes standing around AT ALL in issue seven; especially not to watch a fight that was never shown. i hope someone, off panel, reminded storm that she'd have to pay damages, too, considering she wrecked a few cars, trucks and mailboxes while not accomplishing anything.

or maybe the poor guy was just showing her some respect cuz she's royalty? and i seem to remember sue doing the same thing too....jeez you guys take comics soo seriously that hudlin can do no good your eyes?

i'll read my back issues again, and if i see falcon say "blac... i mean KING t'challa!" i'll take back when i said. it was shitty writing, it defies precedent, and it was a crappy way of trying to once again drive home the point that everybody cares about storm now that she's married.
