At least what he said was something that could, depending on the way it was said, be considered bashing. You took bashing to be me saying that you dislike the OTF.

Someone could take offense at the way I flirt with other girls. Does that mean I was bashing them?

Someone could take offense at me saying "I don't like (insert band here)." Is that bashing?

No. It's not. It's not a personal attack on someone.

I don't know if you noticed, but people take offense at everything these days.

Bashing is a personal attack on a person. Saying "The OTF is KMC's toilet" (which is a popular opinion even among several mods), or "this band ****ing sucks" is not attacking any one specific person.

See, something like that is just stupid. How can you bash something like a movie? Saying a movie or band sucks ass is having an opinion. However, telling someone who is a fan of said movie/band is an idiot and a dumbass simply because they like them, is bashing.

Ahh...I don't agree with that. If someone said "AJ, you're an ugly piece of shit", yes, that is bashing....but if someone says, "I fecking hate hockey, it sucks!!" (my favourite sport), I don't take that as bashing, even though I may not like it, because its not a personal attack.
