Krillin was not weaker. He was just not used as much, so he looked weaker.

Tienshinhan looked strong becuase his Kihou was able to neutralize a blast from Boo and hold down Imperfect Seru.

Kuririn was stated in the manga to be the strongest human (japense viz)
And Destruction dics >> Kihou -- any day.
It was stated to be able to go through all matter (just in the ****ed-up anime Gohan was able to catch them)

The fact that Kuririn trained with his wife Juuhachigou for all the time even makes the fact clearer.

Tienshinhan did not train at Dao Kai's platet for a year.
He stopped when Gokou tunred SSJ at Namek, he was training so he could come up in Gokou's league, but gave up after that.

It just happend in the anime. In the manga chichi had no power over Gokou.

All of these characters you guys are talkin about, krillin, yamcha, tien, and choatzu, all were weak after the Dragonball series.

Krillian is human humans -trainging=NOTHING

But yes for other beings that is true

during the piccolo saga, most were leaning towards tenshinhan to beat piccolo, and during the martial arts tournament where goku and piccolo faced in the finals, tenshinhan almost beat goku during the semis...and if memory serves me right, tenshinhan beat goku in the tournament before that to be champion..
