he creates a loop which removes him from the force where the drain will have no effect unless nihilus strikes an instant before luke which can be unlikely

Or he cuts Nihilus into hundreds of pieces before Ni can react

I never actually truly got EL. Does it work in the same way as force lightning (summon through hands, direct route to target) or is it simply summoned directly around its target with no direct route and thus, much harder to defend against.

Telekenisis seems like it'd be more interesting. Green lightning sounds boring to watch.

Luke can destroy a small army with his saber without the force, it's not like he's defenseless. And his speed is faster than Ni so he could render him immobile swiftly

yea but its force vs force and we cant say nihilus absorbs the attack just simply by draining it, hed have to attack an instant before luke if he is caught off guard which rarely happens.

lightsaber and force fight luke owns. lightsaber luke owns too.

and since we dont know of nihilus other powers then we do not know but that cut content vid did show a glimpseof his powers.
push pull etc and force crush which he can use unless well luke strikes emerald lightning and kills him,

we also dont know if force crush is instant or not,
vader did have force crush tho from what i know

Vader tended to kill people instantly with it, too
