Okay Scene 1, TAke 6,... I mean Part 6: Stormy were the day, and cool were the nights, but as we entered navy land we began to fright.
No longer was it safe, no longer was it nice, to sail all day and night.

Verse 7: Scruvy flew around the ship and strangly affected our hips. Sailing was tough but we are gruff, so we sailed all night and day.

what is gruff?

I think another word for tough, or strong,..
