I go to anime conventions and I see a good deal of the fanbase, and the average age is about 15. The majority are under the age of 16.

No I've been to my share of conventions, cosplay and all. I actually would say I rarely see children at conventions. The cosplayers are around 14 up to about early twenties. I can supply pictures if you don't believe us.

...I don't need your pics, I've been going to conventions for several years and work at them now. Not many kids, yes, but as I said - the portion of the fanbase that attends cons and cosplays is not in any way indicative of the majority of the fanbase - it is indeed a slim minority.
Civilization doesnt suck, if you dont like it thats perfectly fine, but it definitly doesnt suck.
It has been rated as some of the best PC gaming ever created by most journalists and fans.
It put turn based strategy in the mainstream gaming public especially considering turn based games wasnt well known with casual gamers.

It's not the game's fault you suck at it or you cant play it.
A game that sucks would be an crappy game like 25 To Life, but what you describe is a game that you cant playt. That's perfectly fine because I'm not very good at hardcore puzzle games like Myst, but I dont say they suck, I just say Im not good at it.
Civilization is an classic. It's consider as one of the best. It doesnt suck, if you dont like it, thats competly different, and thats the topic of the thread.

I'm smart to relize that sometimes I dont like a certain game because of its genre, it doesnt appeal to me, but I dont think that the game sucks because of that reason. I just dont like it.
I wasnt a fan of Oblivion, but hey, I understood why it's been labelled as one of the best games this year. I just didnt like it.
I hate RGP's, but I understand that some RPG's are considered good.
Has anybody giving reasons why they think Civilization sucks?

Random battles suck. Always have, always will.
And I cried when Aeris died (really... 😮 ), but other than that I haven't been impressed at all. Overrated series that isn't any better than many lesser-known RPGs.
I'll also co-sign WindWaker. Ocarina was the sh*t, then WW dropped the ball big time. I actually liked the graphics. The gameplay was just too easy and too dull.
And everyone on the planet changed their minds about Myst. No one actually likes it anymore...so no one thinks those people are crazy for not liking it.
