George Galloway has spoken out in support of Lebanon in an interview on Sky News, saying he believes Hizbollah is justified in attacking Israel. The Respect MP also lambasted media coverage of the war (in particular that of Sky News)

George Galloway, MP (born 16 August 1954) is a British politician noted for his socialist views and rhetorical style. He is currently the Respect Party Member of Parliament (MP) for Bethnal Green and Bow, and was previously elected as a Labour Party MP for Glasgow Hillhead and Glasgow Kelvin.

Galloway is perhaps best known for his vigorous campaign to overturn economic sanctions against Iraq, and for his visits to Saddam Hussein in 1994 and 2002. Indeed. This was a great clip. It's just too bad that more people don't realize the wrong actions of Israel...and the actions they take that other nations condone. I also appreciate his mention of Rupert Murdoch, who is a king maker in the finest sense of the word.

absolutely. I have never watched sky news. Although I dislike his ranting and raving style, Mr Galloway certainly tells it like it is. It seems that people all over the world believe Israel and Jews in general to be hard done by and are naive/ignorent to many of the points that Galloway made.

Again, whenever I see him on Question time or in any interview or political debate program, I tend to agree with his fighting for the underdog spirit and no nonsense approach, but it is hard not to "condemn and ridicule" an adult politician who can't hold a conversation without interrupting, shouting, talking over and cursing people.

i can feel his frustration though. id wanna curse people who are clearly bias like the media, who pedals the lies to the public who msotly without question blindly accept the 'info' given to them

She is annoying. and yes, you can feel, see and hear his frustration! Its just a shame that he isn't quite as eloquent and intelligent as someone like Tony Benn. then He would be more respected.
