No, actually Jaeh, this is proof positive that I must be naive--I liked cayenne pepper 😄--I liked salt water 😄--never occurred to me that those two things and my delicate mucous membranes so close to my pea brain might not possibly have a mar-ri-age made in heaven. But believe me a blasted nose 😘 teaches best, after that advice about snorting goes to the heart.still lol after all these years.
Cayenne Pepper!!!! Texxy....lol....oh my dear Texxy, I will use ur experience as a learning one!! lol...NO cayenne pepper up my nose!! lol
I like Wasabe on Sushi, but not too much....i'm not very good with spicy food!! lol
Hey anyone watch STEP UP 2 The Streets yet? I watched it on Friday and it's pretty alright....I fell in love with the skinny, curly haired guy...why i dont know but I did!!
Anywhoo when the movie was over and we are all walking out of the theater....I saw a bunch of familiar faces and I realized we had just watched the movie with most of the cast!! LOL...We started the pandamonium by asking for a picture which caught everyone's attention and before they knew it...the cast was surround by ppl asking for pics and autographs!! lol...It was pretty cool!!

so what lessons did you learn that day, tex? 😄 😛wasabe... chili taste better. where do wasabe come from, anyway?
Well, I think the first one was you really can't run that fast when you are unable to breathe (to try and catch and murder my friend who suggested it). 😉 🙁
Oh, and then there's the part about and I quote "I. Don't. Think. So.-- there are SOME things even I WON'T do" stated clearly with determination and a don't make me tell the cayenne pepper story. 😄
The third and perhaps most touching lesson: Your nose hairs will grow back quickly and apparently lushly if you blast your nose with foreign substances. lol 😄
So all in all, it was a growing pain/life lesson, although it didn't prepare me at all for part 15 or 16 of my next adventure with Bwana Dik (my friend, you know) and a lovely native plant here in south Texas called tingle tongue, Hint: Imagine this phrase: _____at the mouth like a rabid dog. 😆 He is a constant flora and fauna finkledinkle. I don't even wait til he finishes to say #2 above.
This is my helpful hint for wasabi and horseradish--never never never breathe IN when you take that bit slathered in these delightful substances--Always breathe out! Enjoy--suffer for your art...it's such a goooood flavor.
I have that song "Holding Out for a Hero" that someone posted as
Anyone here from Fort Lauderdale? - Dade works.
I am actually listening to "Here She Comes" and-
Ah, cooooled off- now..
I am changing from 4ever-s*** to not-s***... o my..
"She begins to steal the light
Confusion throws another mystery
It's out of focus with the eyes
So now you wonder is this just a dream?
Hmmmmmm
Here she comes, here she comes
She's gonna cause a sensation now
And just between you and me
I think she'll soon have you temptation bound
Suppose? Who know? she's not above suspicion
Is she? Maybe? on some kind of secret mission
Better listen
Somewhere, somehow
There's still some pieces missing
I sense, I feel, trust my intuition
Don't rush into your decision
Now here's a riddle in the rhyme
If she's the same how come she's different now?
The same old eyes, but not the shine
You know you're certain, but you're full of doubt
Now here she comes, here she comes
She's gonna have you at her beck and call
So why refuse? Yeah why contend?
When all resistance is impossible
Suppose? Who know? she's not above suspicion
Is she? Maybe? on some kind of secret mission
Better listen
Somewhere, somehow
There's still some pieces missing
I sense, I feel, trust my intuition
Don't rush into your decision
Now here she comes, here she comes
She's gonna have you at her beck and call
So why refuse? Yeah why contend?
When all resistance is impossible
Oh, Here she comes, here she comes
This lady's serious, make no mistake
Face to face and eye to eye
She'll cast a spell that you may never break
Oh, Here she comes, here she comes
OoOoOoO"
JAEH--oh please say you didn't do this thing--I forgot the don't try this at home....oh, please...lol--Bwana Dik will be so proud--messing up the population, half a world away--you one brave chile, chile!!lol 😆
Tingle tongue is a tree and it's somehow related to novacaine--Native Americans used it for toothache (and it does work) only drool would be a nice way to explain what happens to your mouth. OMY--hell's bells--I almost got dehydrated my mouth drooled so much. And your tongue gets really numb-y so you can't even tell anyone how little you think of their latest idea....I'm just a guinea pig for flora and fauna.
Next: I'll be happy to share the joy of the fire ant dance 💃 (involves stripping) and escaping from javelinas (peccarys) after the fire ant dance. Eveything in Texas has a thorn or a horn. Except for me....I'm just fluffy.
