Im not a christian, brought up as an atheist /agnostic.

But God or whatever force there is, has done a lot for me, a real lot.
Have even come close to heaven in an OBE, an amazing experience which I´ll never forget and hope to experience again.

But you could say a belief in God has affected people whether or not God exists.
