He DID associate why the Sith are always evil and the Jedi are always good. If you had watched ROTS, the Sith have shown their evilness when they staged wars that consumed the entire galaxy and Palpatine used his disfigured face to incriminate the Jedi just so he would be allowed to massacre the entire order which led to the events of the OT. TPM showed 2 Jedi Knights displaying their goodness by helping a queen free her home planet from the Trade Federation's clutches while ROTS showed 4 Jedi attempt to bring down the last Sith Lord who is one step away from ruling the universe only to no avail due to Anakin's betrayal.Lucas has showed us that our actions will determine if other people view us as good or evil.
Yet, the Jedi have no problem accepting an army form an anonymous user left on their doorstep and using it to plunge the galaxy into civil war (yes, against the code). They have no problem telling you not to think or question their authority. Mace would have had no problem executing the chancellor (likely illegaly).
Is JarJar evil because he gave emergency powers to the Chancellor? Is Padmé evil because she questioned the morality of the war? Are the senators eveil becasue they wanted a vote of no confidence in Valorum? Is Jango evil because hes a mercenary? Are the clones evil becasue they followed orders?
Lucas has blinded you into thinking that theses movies can be seen in balck and white. However, if Lucas just showed Maul giving a cooling unit to an old lady, would that make him a good person?
How do you explain Anakin, who does both "evil" and "good" deeds throught the saga.
Who defines "good" and "evil" anyway.
Ill tell you this Lucas defines the Jedi as "good" and the Sith as "evil". Therefore, its not surprise that if an action helps the Jedi its portrayted as "good" and if it hurts the Jedi its portrayed as "evil." This is a circular arguement. Simply supporting Lucas random interpretation and then presenting it as fact.
Though, if you're happy following Yoda's "Do not question" and "There is no why," go right ahead, jsut don't attempt to push your limited and biased philosophy on me.
