i think tia/calypso (if she is calypso) gives 2 choices for jack
1) I think he offers him immortality to be with her forever and rule the 7 seas. And live elizabeth dead since shes just a mortal woman who played with his feelings.
2) offers to jack to stay as a mortal and give life back to liz so he could be with the woman he loves.
^^ basically what i think is that Tia/calypso is gonna try to persuade him saying like isnt it better to be with me and be immortal to control the 7 seas to be aboard in ur black pearl forever. To leave liz dead since all she did was betray, when she cahined him up, and play with his heart(denying her feelings).
I think this is the part where jacks character WILL change. the writers said taht the characters will have a dramatic change in the 3rd movie. So hopefully it would mean he will choose liz to live so he could be with her for the rest of his life. <<Thats a surprise right there!! The typical jack would prob prefer immortality and control! but there has to be a change in the character!! u cant just have the same character all the time its just damn boring. this would be a change for jack, dramatically, but for the good!!
oh god how much would that ending SUCK..SERIOUSLY!..Disney dont feck the franchise up..what is the overall feeling towards that ending on that board naveed? people MUST realize how CRAP it would be if Will ended up with Liz...even though they try to make him be brave..he's still a friggin pansy..the ending would be increadibly unsatisfying mark my words..maybe they are just deliberatley handing out false info to throw us off the scent
and we may even see that giselle/scarlett thing as a DELETED scene from movie 2 😂

I always thought of will as one of the suitors though..cuz of the fact she is engaged to him..but she will hopefully never marry him..her heart belongs to Odysseus..she lives a LIE with the suitors..pretending that she will marry them but then steps backwards so she doesn't have to.
exactlly^^i say exactly alot lol. Norrie offered her a mansion, since hes rich hello-or was rich, to cook, raise kids, just be a housewife. Will didnt offer mansion(well hes a blacksmith duh)HOWEVER he did offer her the same as norri-to cook, stay at home, raise kids.
Funny thing is that Jack offers her one thing and that one offer seems to be everything for her-everything what she asks for...FREEDOM. Freedom of where she goes, how to dress, how to be, WHO TO LOVE. she could have thousands of suitors who will offer her so much jewels, mansion etc. But heres the thing, she has to be a common housewife!! She wants freedom! Thats where jack comes in.
Hes practically the only person who gives her the freedom to choose, BUT he knows she wants him but is denying it so thats what bothers him. if he knew that she wanted Will Norrie whoever the hell shows up for her then he'll support her and lets her go. BUT SHE LOVES HIM, and hes not gonna give up on liz now NOW that he has her!!

The board I visited had split feelings. It was pretty much 50/50 for Will/Liz and Jack/Liz. It actually quite suprised me, considering how strongly this board feels about the Jack/Liz relationship.
seriously though are the writers just going to go round in a circle..as in set off one way...have something interesting in the middile and then end right back where we started???....................................... Thats CRAP!!!!!!!! What was the point of the MIDDLE if that happens?? Was it just aload of filler crap...a whole MOVIE dedicated to filler time?

The thing i want to know is, how much have the writers/director changed their viewpoint since film 1???
because in film one, they saw it primarily as a love story, they called Liz the main character, and they seemed sort of put out that Jack kept stealing scenes.
BUT at that point they didnt know they were going to get to create a triology, they didnt know Jack Sparrow would become a pop culture idol, they didnt know all that, ya know?
SO... have they stayed on board with all their first ideas (boring) ??? OR have they decided to let the story go where it should?

They seemed to be afriad to be too bold with movie 1 when it came to Jack Liz..because Jack was such a risky character...honestly Jack's character cant really end like that again by the end of the trilogy..I mean..leaving the two "lovers" so that he can be on his own..its not really a satisfying ending for him..thats why they brought in the whole Liz/Jack aspect for movie 2..because for him to keep choosing to be on his own is very boring in the long run..
well hopefully, and they better, disney has to show us that our first love isnt always our only love. Its important to know why u have feelings towards this person and if they are real feelings. See i personally think that Will was/is obsessed with Liz, ok sure he loves her but i mean is it REAL love. hes been dreaming about her ever since the day they met, i dont know i call it obsession. He wants liz to be happy and the only way he thinks she'll be happy is by regular old marriege, a house, a garden, maybe maids etc etc. But he never asked her what SHE wants. He probably have asked her and she possibly lied to him big time.
Its important to know ur feelings and reason why u love this person. Its aweful to stay with a person who loves u but dont love him/her and it would be a total waste of time.
Will the pirate. It just doesn't work. He's not cut out for it. He's brave and tough and good with a sword, but that doesn't make him a pirate, you know? Liz is a pirate. It would be unrealistic for one of them to make that drastic a change for the other. And what was the whole reason for the island scene in the first movie if not to show that Jack and Liz are very similar to each other and have a lot of chemistry? Look at the deleted scenes, people! They're peas in a pod and it wouldn't make sense to introduce that (because let's face it, if they thought it was that big a mistake, they wouldn't have included the deleted scenes in the dvd) and not do anything with that. What's the point of their scenes together? To make us say, "Oh stop being stupid and stay with Will?" If that's the case, it backfired royally.
