What kind of plug-ins did the Mugen Guild say you should get?

They told me to install some at some random section and I did. My Mugen was better afterwards but still shut down less often.

But I have Hi-res Mugen now. The only problem with it is it has an unfixable bug it seems, and that is whenever I lose a match and am taken to the character selection screen, I see nothing but black although I can still move and hear the cursor...and select characters even though I can't see anything, but when I go away from the selection screen I see everything again.
